Don't confuse Las Olas with those run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurants. The menu is anything but "traditional" and thankfully so! Imaginative courses made with superb ingredients and flair. If you are tired of the same old food when someone says, "let's get Mexican," THIS is the place to go for a meal. I've eaten there twice and both times were great meals.... More

Nice guacamole and queso. The the margaritas are also very good. I happen to be a fan of Texas beef brisket barbecue and Las olas does a really nice try at this. The Street Tacos are a good choice also. The wait staff works very hard and are efficient, friendly, and helpful. This restaurant may be a little on the... More

Try the Mexican street corn as a side or appetizer. Food is consistently good and has shared menu of sister restaurant K38 at Wrightsville Beach,

The place was crowded when we arrived and had to wait about 20mins to be seated. I think they forgot about us since there were empty tables but we had to reach the front desk to be seated. The food was good and relatively fast, the staff was friendly

we used to like this place. something changed. high prices for what you get. yes, the waitresses are just great. the food is really good. but the prices for what you get are bad. there are many mexican restaurants here in wilmington and you can great combination lunch specials for $5.99 that can be hard to finish. here you don't... Held a business meeting over lunch, we had ample space in the back. This table was a good perch to people watch too. Nice small bar area up front and loved the music from my college days! I had the chicken quesadilla and my dining guest had a chicken taco salad. The quesadilla had some kick to it but in... More

A unique combination of barbecue and Mexican fusion cuisine served in a pleasant ambience. The brisket with mole was not bad. If we had ordered a few margaritas to enjoy with the free chips and salsa, we probably would have enjoyed it more.

Casual dining experience. The chips and salsa are super delicious. Las Olas is one of a few owned by the same owner(s). The salsa is the same as Tower 7, K38 Baja Grill and the other locations. We have been to the 3 mentioned in this review. Of the 3 this was our favorite. Waitresses more friendly, super clean, prices,... More

Went on recommendation of local relatives. Street corn was to die for. Santa Fe tacos were good for price. Ambiance inside is super cute with hanging lanterns. Our server clearly didnt want to be there or at least acted as if. We enjoyed the food just didnt feel welcome there by her. I suppose I would go back and give... More

We stopped in for lunch expecting Ameri/mex food. We found the food, drinks and the wait staff way better than we expected from the location of the café. It is in the strip mall across the street from Mayfair Shopping center. After the first bite, Las Olas became our new go to restaurant in Wilmington. The food was so much... More
