Our dinners were delicious, but we were disappointed in the falafel appetizer - not hot and bland. Our server, John, hurried us along to get our orders in before a large party ordered, which we appreciated, but we could have used a little bit more friendly server and a little bet less hurry-hurry right through to the check.

We had the pleasure of enjoying our evening with friends who happen to be visiting Wilmington at the same time. It was our second time we'd enjoyed ourselves at the Black Sea Grill. During our first, a few months prior, we absolutely fell in love with the appetizer, the Veggie Delight. It flavor was just so good (and it doesn't... More

We have been there twice now and the whole experience just gets better. This restaurant is family owned and you can tell that as soon as you walk in. John greeted us both time as if we were old friends. We were seated immediately and he was very attentive and helpful. Food is not good...it is excellent! And the service... More

Not only is the atmosphere inviting and unique, but the food is incredible!! I've never ordered anything that was less than an exceptional savory experience. The calamari is hands down the best I've ever had. Our standards for ingredient quality are pretty steep and the dishes here have never disappointed. Seafood and meats are always fresh and seasoned/sauced perfectly without... More

My boyfriend and I drove 30 minutes to eat here. We were ten minutes late to an 8:30 reservation and got turned away because "no one called" and they had "already turned the grill off." Safe to say we will not be going back!

Wonderful location to grab food while exploring the city. The dishes were delicious amd absolutely filling! The Turkish coffee was addictive. And the house salad is a must have. I'll absolutely have to go back again and again to try all the dishes!

Some of the best Falafel I’ve ever eaten. Comfortable dining area, good service, nice wines, great food. Would definitely return next time we visit Wilmington.
