Stoney Knob was referred to us by Eve at the Hawk and Ivy B&B. She insisted we try the place during our stay. We were delighted with the food which was innovative and delicious! The short ribs melted in my mouth along with the Parmesean grits! Everyone in our party had delicious meals. We will definitely come here again on... More

Atmosphere was spoiled by loud repetitive brumbeat music. There is great music in Asheville but not on their canned music track. The volume may partially explain the need to ask the waitress for everything twice. Though swearing to never return l turned around several miles down the road to question a 33%+ overcharge. The generous manager gave me an extra... More

Eclectic menu that has something for everyone. (Decor too) Every dish is done well. Sunday has a " brunch" menu with their own creative spin from crepes to Benedict. Lunch and dinner.

When I visit Asheville I always try to eat lunch at this place. It is a little hard to find as it is on a two lane highway between Asheville and Weaverville. The food is very good and the staff is very attenvive. This place is a "greek" restaurant but the menu is very diverse. I always get the meatloaf... More

Service and Food Excellent. The lamb was so tender and flavorful, melted off the bone. Duck tacos were the best. Words do not do this restaurant justice. Right off I-26 in Weaverville, a must stop passing Asheville.

This is a really cute place, be sure to walk through all the rooms. I had the best filet I have ever eaten and the crab Mac-n-cheese was wonderful. Unfortunately, I also ordered a wedge salad and discovered that it was brown and spoiled half way through it. I pointed this out to our server and she just shrugged and... More

We are staying in Weaverville on vacation. We tried it due to the reviews on trip advisor. Blown away by the entire experience. The decor is very unique. The we had lamb shank and the grouper special. Both where exceptional. Most plates cost $15 - 20. This restaurant ranks with the best in the Asheville area.

Based on the ecclectic structure and restaurant layout, one would suspect "this is not the place for me". But trust me sit down and prepare yourself for a great wine list And a menu to match. I would strongly recommend the "Berry White" sangria With the Duck Confit appetizer. the wasabi mashed potatoes are off the chain! The main menu... More

What a neat find. Followed reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to have a late Sunday lunch here. Sunday brunch menu limited but nonetheless great and not disappointing. Try if nearby.
