A great coffee and tea house. Staff was very nice. Quaint atmosphere. They also serve lunch and Sunday Brunch. Loved this place.

What a hidden gem! Panacea is tucked away in what looks like an old warehouse or store building with exposed wooden ceilings and floors and old brick walls and is located in the Frog Level of Waynesville. The fare is very tasty and includes creative brunch/lunch foods and delicious beverages, served counter style by the courteous and helpful waitstaff. The... More

A place to get a cup of coffee and hang out or get some work done, few options for a full breakfast but enough for a nice snack. Loved the industrial look and family atmosphere.

Unique eatery offering a variety of hot/cold sandwiches, gourmet salads, soup and of course coffee. A multitude of delicious flavored options for coffee and tea. The Mocha was off the chain and the blackberry lemonade was on point. All this takes place in a Vintage brick warehouse built in 1920 the rail road tracks are still out front and creek... More

Really cool looking coffee shop in town. Enjoyed the industrial looking inside. Coffee was good and so was the food. My portion of quiche was a little small for the price, but very tasty. I would recommend going here.

My husband and I wanted to have brunch near home. So I Googled local breakfast and Panacea came up for brunch from 10-3. We had an amazing meal and the best coffee I've had in a very long time. It used to be a warehouse and was converted into this wonderful cafe. They roast their own beans too. They are... More

Very good homemade soups and sandwiches. You can eat on the back patio along the water. Also can grab a craft beer from the place next door.

So apparently, many Waynesville restaurants aren't open on Sunday and Panacea was one that was. We are gluten free and they did have the option of gluten free bread. We had the chicken salad sandwich and the Tarzan and Jane salad. The salad seemed a bit over-topping'ed to me. Not something I would expect. The ratio of lettuce to goodies... More

Stopped in for coffee and ended up staying for lunch. Both were excellent! Try the paninis, excellent. Also, the ambience was nice with the exposed brick walls, eclectic artwork and an outdoor area by the water. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too.

My family recently went yo Waynesville to get a Christmas tree. We stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed! Everything we wanted could be made gluten free except 2-3 items. We were in GF heaven. Food was great! Ambiance wonderful, and drinks were good. We definitely plan to return.
