Love the sandwich selections and salad/soup or salad/sandwich choices. Great Prime Rib dinner once a month on Fridays. Great new manager who cares that you are satisfied.

We went to Warrenton during our recent stay at a friend's lake house. The staff at Hardware Cafe is very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Two people in our party ordered The Hammer and said that the Corned Beef was fairly thickly sliced and a little...More

I love Hardware Café, a small, cozy setting inside of one of Warrenton's former businesses. MY husband was born and raised in Warrenton and he says that the interior hasn't changed much. awesome sandwiches, the desserts are to die for, whatever your wine or beer...More
Under new ownership but already good restaurant is just better. Food is great. Service is attentive and efficient. First Friday Prime Rib is better, if that is possible. Decor is improved and there is a decent wine selection. Worth the 850 mile drive to eat...More
The restaurant offers a great variety of sandwiches in a quaint, old hardware store atmosphere. The soup and half sandwich option was just the right size for lunch. Will return.
Every Friday night this place does dinner! Prime Rib, Rack of Ribs, Shrimp and Grits etc. Top it off with locally brewed coffee and homemade desserts. Wow!!! Lunch is also great with a large selections of handmade sandwiches and soups!
The Hardware Cafe changed ownership at the end of September 2016, but the attentive staff and delicious menu remain unchanged. The "Halter and Bit" is my favorite sandwich, but you can't go wrong with any of the sandwich offerings and daily specials.
Went to Carolina Shag dancing night and had great food and a really good time learning how to do this iconic dance. Service from the staff was terrific.
Glad to hear that you had a good time & experience. We are hoping to have another Shag Night in the near future. Thanks for your review.
I've had prime rib at major national steak house chains like Fleming's, Morton's, Carson's, Sullivan's, and Ruth's Chris. The first Monday of the month Prime Rib Special at the Hardware Cafe beats them all. Larger portions, cooked perfectly, and better quality meat. I don't know...More
