Had a grilled cheese. Very cheesy. Solid meal. Affordable pricing. Coffee is sold there as well, and I've been told its legit. Great place for kids to play because they supply toys and books. Highly recommend for a family or date or place to chill. 10/10 would recommend swipe right for city lights

The food is pretty average with a slightly arrogant price attached. Everytime I go, I place my order and several people order after, yet they will get their order before me. They tend to put things on the back burner. Unless I'm there to kill time, I'm usually annoyed at how long they take and how much it costs.

This off the main track cafe offers lots of gluten free options and a good selection of crepes, panini type ( more like a toasted ) wraps and coffees and cold drinks . The crepes were very good, loved the fish tacos but disappointed in the panini. Friendly service with wifi reasonable value

Two things memorable. Bookstore adjacent/attached is worth the trip. Eclectic collection. Also, good beer. Had dark IPA out of Raleigh, NC called Night Knight. Personal Wow here. I loved it. Chicken salad sandwich serviceable.

Met for breakfast before starting out mountain adventures, absolutely loved the place. It's an easy walk from the Blue Ridge Inn and has a great vibe. Had the crepes for breakfast and went back that night for a beer.

We came here for brunch and everything we got was pretty good. The crepes are excellent, but some of the fillings were a little bland (especially the Greek). Hot tea selection is weak, but everything else was good. This is easily the best breakfast we found in the area.

Very nice location and decor, but all nine of us were disappointed. We divided into three groups to order and make it easier, but after warning us that it would be a 15-min wait, our food got to our tables an HOUR later. Many other patrons were talking about getting their money back, and we had to cancel our afternoon... More

We visited the City Lights Bookstore on our regular stop in Sylva on vacation. Our regular sandwich shop in downtown was no longer there so we looked for something with a light but filling lunch. City Lights Cafe fit exactly. Their menu had plenty of variety with crepes, Wraps, salads, chips and salsa, and paninis. I wanted something light and... More

I have frequented this little coffee shop since it opened years ago. It is a quaint coffee shop/café beneath the bookstore. A great place to relax with a cup of coffee and a book, or a quick stop for brunch or lunch. Try the crepes!
