Passing by through town, stopped for a quick Sunday Brunch…. It was a treat … Our waitress “Steph” was friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The food items we tried and I recommend: Jerk Chicken on beans and brown rice… full of flavors BBQ Pork sandwich....Perfect but spicy. You will like it if you appreciate not spicy food Fried Okra ….. the dipping sauce is amazing Yellow Tamale,…. What a creative dish. (Highly recommended)More

Good food, great service, and a large selection of menu items. The chips that came with my breakfast burrito were very fresh and tasty. My wife loved her Cuban sandwich as well.

We had the munchies for Mexican food and stopped here on our trip to the mountains. I blame myself for not taking a closer look at the menu because this was what is considered a "healthy" Mexican restaurant with organic and locally farm to table...produce and food. The chips were tasteless & somewhat stale and the salsa was a thickly sliced tomato and peppers combination with little flavor. Absolutely no spice or kick whatsoever. The tamale looked and tasted different from any I've had before. My wife's quesadilla was tasty but mildly burnt on the bottom, we ended up giving it to the dog. Next time I'll make sure I choose an "unhealthy" Mexican restaurant to eat at! Our pretty server was very nice and the bathroom was spotless which is a reliable indicator the kitchen is too.The price and portion size were both reasonable. However, with that said we won't be going back here.More

hey there, sorry we weren't what you were looking for! Guad really isn't a mexican restaurant- our menu is a mix of cuisines prepared with local ingredients. So if you pass back through town, there is an unassuming little tienda just a few blocks away...More

I’m obsessed with this place! I’m GF and we love to eat fresh, so this was our pick for both brunch and an early dinner. The staff is so kind, the atmosphere is amazing, and literally everything we tried was delicious.

A real find for us. Innovative take on traditional Southwest cuisine using the very best locally sourced ingredients. Refreshing surprises in every dish and the quality of the ingredients shines through.

This place continues to be a trailblazer within driving distance of Asheville and an innovative and craetive menu centered on ethnic food experience derived mainly from the plant world and all at a down to earth price, unlike places in Asheville. Service is always super...and top notch.More

My wife and I went for brunch. She had chicken curry and I had huevos ranchers. Both dishes were very good. It was quite busy on Sunday and we got a table on the sidewalk. Only had two wait staff, but they did a good...job and the wait time was acceptable. Overall good experience; would go back.More

We are foodies and travelers. So we had done our homework before we got to Sylva. For a small town, there was a wide variety of very good ecletic food in many places. But our takeout order (thanks to to COVID 19 pandemic), from Guadalupe...cafe hit the ball out of the park! Food was tasty, with a fusion of complementary flavors and textures. Most of all, there was a wide variety of healthy food. We will definitely visit again if we are in that area.More
