Little Pig's is a regional chain that has been around for a long time. When I was a Child, I remember driving to Greenville SC and while we were there, stopping at Little Pig's for lunch. A favorite with my parents, Fond memories on my part but not even sure the Greenville Store is there anymore Statesville Store has been... More

Little Pigs has been here forever, and it's the first place I think of when I think barbeque. Their sandwiches are great, but my favorite is the barbeque plate with baked beans and cole slaw with hush puppies. They have tomato-based sauce, either mild or hot. The hot is not too hot. When I am in the mood for a... More

Our family is spread out to Atlanta, New Mexico, and various NC towns. Any time we go by Statesville, we stop at Little Pig's, either to eat or to take food home. It's the best BarBQ, we think and wonderful hush puppies. We always buy extra sauce and we get slaw for our sandwiches. I don't know if the Little... More

You can smell the BBQ pork from a half of a mile away. They are in a dated building that is clean. The BBQ is excellent.

I was expecting home cooked southern style mouth watering food. Not the case. Everything was pretty much a tasteless chunk of deep fried fat. Service was excellent, and the deep friend corn was interesting, probably the best part of the meal. BBQ was GOOD, but not GREAT. Mac and Cheese tasted like water, worse then the stuff that comes out... More

I have always loved the food. Just gotta say that first. But the staff always seem mad that I am even ordering food. They never say anything rude but never smile or act they live in the south. I hate to say anything bad about the place bc I do love the food but absolutely hate going there and dealing... More

If you're looking for really good food at lunch time and you're limited on your time to get back to work, this is an excellent choice. They get you in and out in a hurry. Their food is excellent. Not only is the barbeque good, but the hot dogs and hamburgers are good as well. Don't forget to grab some... More

The Little Pig's BBQ is excellent and time honored. It is still made the way it was first made decades ago in western North Carolina. The BBQ is hickory-wood fired, hand-chopped, and lean. The restaurant is a typical small, family owned vintage eatery. Whenever we pass by Statesville we usually order the large tray and ice tea which is plenty... More
