The crust on the pizzas was not hand tossed by any means and the sauce on the pizza tasted like plain tomato paste with no spices at all. The prices are also much too high for the quality of their product.

If you are a fan of fresh brewed beer and fresh baked pizza, hop on the Parkway and head to Spruce Pine, NC. The trip will be well worth the drive. Friendly small town service and premium quality food will be on tap.

I liked the Old English and the Pilsner. I really liked both sandwiches but they need to change their buns. There is so much meat piled in the smallish bun it is hard to get your mouth around it.

This a very fun place for folks of all ages. I'm 57 so the wait staff looks young and energetic. The pizza is tasty. Friends from the next county like to meet for craft beer. Spruce Pine feels like Mayberry. This place has an Asheville atmosphere. It also attracts an older, intellectual bunch. I've seen educators, administrators and health care... More

we eat at this place at least once a month. The wait staff is wonderful and always takes good care of us. We like the food and a few of the beers we will drink but wish they would include a few domestic beers for customers to pick from.

Chad, the owner of The Pizza Shop/Dry County Brewing, makes all his beer and all his food with fresh ingredients. I'm not a beer aficionado, but I do like to eat. His pizzas are delicious, but my favorites are the sandwiches. He makes his own sourdough rolls, and they are so filled with ingredients that it's hard to get your... More

We decided to try DCBC while staying in Spruce Pine, because it had a good TripAdvisor rating. Unfortunately, they ran out of the porter we really wanted. I had wine instead. But they are definitely trying to get the brew side going. i gotta tell you, the Caesar salad was really good! I liked the fresh Romaine and flavorful dressing.... More

My husband and I stopped here after hiking in the area. What a delicious decision! Loved the beer and the sandwiches we had. Highly recommend!

This place would be easy for you to pass right by. From the street, it really doesn't look like much -- I think it may have once been a convenience store. But go in anyway, because it's as good a pizza experience as you could possibly expect Anywhere, USA (outside of New York/Long Island, of course). Beer selection is very... More
