Everything about their food and service is great. It's no wonder that they have so many awards. The wine selection is superior as are the inventive dishes. Pricey but worth the money. We will plan to return in October.

Spruce Pine is a small, quaint mountain town, and we had made a point of coming here to Knife and Fork a number of times as a destination. The food was really excellent, and much of it was locally raised and fresh. We had not...More
We had the chef's choice recently, sitting there with a wine paired with each course, and conversing not only with each other but also with the extremely friendly staff as well as Nate, the chef, enjoying the leisurely meal over 2 hours. This place has...More

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Yes, you can save $ 6-8 /person and eat at a chain restaurant, but the food you receive here is worth every penny. If you sit at the bar you can watch the owner/chef(Nate)cook your meal right in front of...More
Incredible and well-deserved pride. We intended to go to the Spoon Bar, but it is closed. Not good. We were fortunate enough to be there on a Friday when we could be seated right away. We were able to watch our food and drinks being...More
