Have been here many times and never have had a bad meal or experience. Can be crowded during tourist season.

We send everyone that flies in to Cape Fear Regional Jetport for a quick lunch with a view. Food is always on point! They also have my favorite Check 6 Brewing Company Beer (Aerial Aggression) on tap!

Any restaurant that doesn't know that fresh fish is not supposed to smell really "fishy" is not some place you want to eat seafood.

We finally ate here...and probably will never go back. The food is typical crappy touristy food- so many better places to eat than here. The ranch dressing is more filler than flavor. The onion rings are nothing but a vessel of grease. They would do better to change the recipe to a crusty batter...like panko or bread crumbs. The hamburger... More

The fresh catch sandwich was Mahi. I've never seen Mahi served as 4 thin little strips of fish. They looked like scraps or leftovers. It was laughabl

We wanted to get away from the throng in the Southport waterfront for lunch. We drove over to Fish Factory Road, past the park, and into a sunny Marina area where the boats were bobbing. At the end of the road is Dead End Saloon. We sat at the bar and ordered local and NC beers on tap, which were... More

I was recently with a large group of neighborhood women that had lunch at Dead End. The ladies at my table seemed to all enjoy their meals and as always, the atmosphere and view are fun and beautiful. I enjoyed my meal so much that my husband and I went back the next day for an early dinner and had... More

I am one of the 16 lady friends mentioned in a previous review. While I agree that the wait was longer than usual, I have been a regular customer for the five years I've lived here. I go for the wonderful location, pleasant wait staff, leisurely ambience, and good coastal food. It must be tough to be in the restaurant... More

We have eaten here a couple of times and it has always been delicious! Excellent Service and really good food. It's nice to be on the water, but without the crowds of being in downtown Southport (atleast when we were there). Definitely worth a visit!

After our boat received its blessing along with about 20 other boats in the Southport area we ventured to Dead End Saloon for an early dinner. Previously the service has been VERY slow. Not this time. We were seated and quickly attended to by our waitress. Drinks came quickly and the orders were taken smartly. Our food arrived in less... More
