Another great meal. You can't go wrong with this old time dish. BBQ is the best around. Great place to meet your friends. Try it TODAY.

Been enjoying White Swan for many years. It is a must when I visit family in Smithfield. Hushpuppies are the best! Love the convenience of the vaccum packed packages of BBQ. Everyone back home will enjoy.
Thanks for stopping in to visit! We are glad you like the new packaging, it does make sharing our Que much easier!
Typical with great hush puppies. The Que is just right moist but not greasy, not too hot, but with a kick. The sides are wonderful and fried chicken like Mom's. Thursday BBQ sandwich specials.
So glad you enjoyed your visit! We look forward to you stopping back in when in town.
Our last visit was May 2015 (as rated on here). Took us a while to try again. SO GLAD we did!!! Bbq sandwich with slaw was spot on! Moist bbq, not greasy, slaw sweet and perfect, bun steamed and fresh, fries were hot and crisp....More
Thanks for giving us another chance, and very glad you enjoyed your visit! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
We dropped into White Swan for lunch on a long trip on I-95 and were not disappointed. The place doesn't look like much on the outside and is tiny on the inside - only 7 tables, but you should know that looks don't matter with...More
out of everything you tried to order then what you settle for was not even good. Service not great either so it will not be a place we return to in the future.
Sorry you had a bad experience at our restaurant.
If you like authentic Eastern North Carolina style barbecue and Southern fried chicken, the White Swan needs to be at the top of your barbecue bucket list! The White Swan is not one of the new trendy, barbecue restaurants working to make a name for...More
If you want to feast on the best North Carolina style BBQ that there is, go to the White Swan. This "Old Geezer" and his Wife last ate there in 2015, while staying the night in Smithfield. We again were staying the night in Smithfield...More
I love this sort of barbecue place: unpretentious, more about meat than fancy descriptions or creative ingredients. We made a first but not last visit while passing through the area. We tried plates of both eastern NC style pork and fried chicken, with slaw and...More
Very glad that you enjoyed your visit! We love hearing from our customers and look forward to seeing y'all when you stop back by!
Stopped for lunch on the way to Florida. Found this place via the BBQ trail. It's a bit off 95 but worth the few extra minutes. Before we even ordered, the waitress brought out a tray of a dozen hot hush puppies- fantastic! We had...More
