The waiters/waitresses are authentic. The food is fresh and always wonderful. Ambience is homey mountain feel. Open only on high season from spring through fall. Get their egg battered flounder if on special.

Servers were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was very good and the place seemed pretty popular. The atmosphere could use some updating, but if you like that old-time "lodge" feel you won't mind a bit. Beer selection needs more variety though.

One of our favorite restaurants in the Lake Toxaway area on NC. The food is always fresh and tasty. The waiters are all first class and are very attentive. We have never had a bad meal and we have eaten here over 50 times.
My, this restaurant is a treat. I am now planning how I can come and stay long enough to frequent the restaurant again. No, I am not related in any way. I just appreciate good Italian food with a European feel that feels REAL.
