Great coffee, best Melting Moment ever, very friendly. Environmentally conscious with free container basket to recycle their "rubbish"

The food was delicious. Pleasant area to sit and eat. The man working there needs a holiday….he didn’t seem very happy to be alive. Food was good though. Lovely and fresh.
We arrived in York at lunch time and found it easy to locate Jules which had good TripAdvisor reviews. Although we were initially disappointed that there was no indoor seating, we were lucky to get one of about 3 outdoor tables for two. The alternative...of milk crates did not appeal. The service was friendly and we found the lamb kebabs and milkshakes very tasty. It was very pleasant sitting under the awning in shade on a very warm day, enjoying the view of the historical buildings.More
We had a takeaway breakfast from Jules. Great bacon and egg wraps, made fresh and good coffee. Would've been nice to have tables and chairs to eat at - none on the day we visited.
We love GOOD COFFEE & GOOD FOOD & being from the city this can be tricky to find when you begin to explore this beautiful country. This stunning space ticks every box! We had coffees and the best date scone I’ve ever tasted & I’m...originally from the UK & a baker! The super friendly staff are just the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing all of this. Good coffee, delicious food, nice staff and a great vibe. And, reasonable prices. Jules should be the good standard for cafes in country towns which are normally woeful and overpriced. My teenage sons gave it the thumbs up.
All the local characters seem to hang out here, and it's centrally located just opposite the amazing York Motor Museum. From your pavement table, watch the townsfolk and day trippers come and go. Jules and his team serve an interesting menu that includes vegan and...Middle Eastern snacks, plus good coffee (of course). Try the baklava!More
We stopped here for a late lunch after seeing the 4+ star rating and we were not disappointed! The falafel wrap was delicious - not dry like some can be, and just enough sauce that your lunch didn't pour into your lap! The coffee was...good and the service excellent! Would definitely recommend eating here!!More
The number of lunchtime patrons attracted us. We selected our meals and I left my wife to commandeer a table while I ordered. Steak burger and a chicken wrap with our usual coffees were quickly on the table out front. Fresh and delicious ingredients and...thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Absolutely recommend at least one visit if in York.More
Stopped in York on way back down south and had a lovely lunch. Salad, pies, baklava - all sorts are available and the food was tasty, quality and always served with a smile. Laid back and efficient is a great combination and we really enjoyed...the foodMore
The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I enjoy a hot chocolate and muffin from time to time and always happy with both! I've had the burger with the lot, always too much for one person, glad to go halves.
Quirky Shoppe and cafe, with a good menu and friendly service. We ordered the special turkey, cheese and salad wraps. The filling was great but instead of Turkish bread or similar they used a more doughy, crumbling wrap material. This was different but, in my...opinion, not as nice as normal wraps.More
Having driven out to York for the first time in 25 years it was a lovely surprise to find the Motor Museum which is well worth paying the entry ticket. From the outside it’s not that inspiring but inside at least a hour or two...of entertainment (even for those of us who aren’t that interested in cars). Walking across the road you come upon Jules which seemed to be doing a great trade so we stopped for lunch (had also been advised by the lovely friendly lady in the Motor Museum it served good food). The very eccentric and helpful owner (maybe Jules?) seemed unflappably content serving out food ably assisted by a couple of young local kids. It’s as seriously tasty selection of things, something to suit most appetites with plenty of vegan options which would’ve thrilled our daughter had she been with us. We sat outside on the pavement, just a few seats, and I can’t remember if there’s inside seating but if there is it would be limited. With these weird times I feel small local businesses need your Dollar so make the drive out to York and have a fun day in this quant little town held in time.More
Went back 4 times in 3 days!!! That says it all!! Seriously good felafel! Everything so fresh and full of flavour! Great find!
Enjoyed the poached eggs and avo brekky dish .. Friendly owner allowed my friend and I to occupy a table after brunch till our husbands toured the Motor Museum opposite and then a fine coffee upon their return .. Go there ..
