Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We always stop here for a pie never again. Cold pie full of nothing but gravy mix worst steak pie ever Had chicken wrap had to look hard to find chicken just full of lettuce $19.20 for pie and wrap Wrap probably had $1.00 worth...filling mainly lettuce Very disappointed as we have been coming here for years. They also don’t display prices or I never would have purchased the wrap. Lost our businessMore

Despite the good quality food and coffee I can’t get past the fact that you never have any prices displayed for any of your food or drinks, which to me is just profiteering on a captive market of highway travellers. And the crunch came today...when we called in for a pick me up coffee to see the stickers on each register advise of a “15% surcharge on all purchases on public holidays”. After a lifetime in the retail industry I fully understand the additional cost involved in trading on public holidays, but when you are already charging comparatively high prices for everything already, your new surcharge is a bit rich. My thought is, if you are confident about the quality of your product, be prepared to show the price for everyone to see.More

Heading to South Australia’s Riverland and it was time for a coffee and something sweet to keep the journey on track. The Sunrise Bakery was open and had a steady flow of customers, so they were the shot to try. And were we glad we...did! Car parking is streetside with the front entrance being at street level it is easy for disabled access as well. With a good choice of products, it took a while to decide. The coffees were easy – a flat white for moi and a long black for partner. A chocolate donut with sprinkles for partner and an apricot slice for me. With no seating available due to COVID19 restrictions, we took away and found a nearby spot to eat and drink. The coffees were on the mild side of strong but had a full flavour with a caramelly aftertaste. And it was hot! The donut, although fresh and of a good size, was not up to normal country bakery standards. The apricot slice, however, was one of the best I have ever had with the apricot filling being firm with rich and tangy flavour. Having no sugar on the top also added to the sharp flavour. The pastry section was buttery and soft. Just like an apricot slice should be. Well done! The service was pleasant, friendly and interactive. I was impressed with the range of products available. Next time will add some of the interesting bagged biscuits that were on display. Return? With good service, good coffee and an outstanding apricot slice, Truro’s Sunrise Bakery has been added to the “must return to” list.More

A popular and must-stop bakery on the main highway in Truro. Parking opposite but usually busy and with busy highway, a little tricky to cross safely! However, work the stopover with excellent pastry items, good service and fresh bakery items.
