Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Maybe they were having a bad day. This was the most disappointing meal we’ve had in SA. My husband had finished his bacon and egg roll before i received my smashed avo. The smashed avo- Eggs were requested to be well done and came out...runny (not good if you’re pregnant) and tasted like vinegar, smashed avocado was scarce and full of spring onion. Added side was no better. Wilted spinach came out fresh and was sent back with the eggs to be prepared again. Both came out 10 mins later and were covered in vinegar. It was inedible and we left.More

We were recommended this venue by friends and loved it. Simple earthy food. I ordered a bruschetta and a fresh juice, both generous and tasty. Lovely staff too.

Looked for a cafe in the Barossa with vegan options, so this one came up as a good choice. Every mouthful was divine! Ordered the home made lentil pie and big vegan breakfast, chai latte and green tea. Don’t often return to places but definitely...will to this one. Even worth the drive. Thank you!More

Small menu, but delicious and fresh food. Lovely customer service to all customers and you can tell is a favourite among the locals! My partner and I came here 12 months ago when we were unsure where to get some lunch, we didn’t feel like...going to a winery and most of the other places were too busy and loud. This place was the perfect atmosphere - cosy, cute and quirky! I’d certainly recommend to anyone who wants a snack or a nice intimate lunch. Haven’t tried the coffee yet but I’m sure I’ll be back soon!More

Amazingly fresh food, served by the friendliest staff, who work in a restaurant/cafe that upon looking around you find trinkets and sayings, ornaments and soaps to buy. Sit at rustic tables and old chairs. Or perhaps you would like to sit at a lounge, or...in a private corner. Maybe a private room with bean bags and arm chairs, or a quiet corner table. There are also tables outside on the pavement. The only place I would recommend you don't sit is at the table on the left in the main area near the bookshelves as that is where the music comes from and we found it a bit loud. It is also where you can see the display cabinet of the most amazing looking pies and tarts and fresh, fresh salads and beautiful rolls and delicious cakes. We loved it. I wanted it all but we didn't have time and I might not have fitted through the door after so we will definitely be back, as much for the happy staff as we would be for the food.More

Fascinating street appeal knowing the old building was once a Chaff Mill, restored nicely with the old world appeal maintained, inside as well. Friendly welcoming helpful staff who knew their menus, warm environment for winter with lots of areas for dining. Great food, good menu...selection. The Tango fruit juice is amazing .. mmm. Will be going back for sure .!More

I like a big fried breakfast with sunny side eggs and it is always a pleasant start to the day when the breakfast is tasty; needless to say it was a good day after visiting Nosh.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Nosh. We had an antipasto plate which had fantastic locally made GF bread! (Although I don’t think the plate is always on the menu?). They have have plenty of GF and vegan options on their menu including open sandwiches.
