Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fearing our only option was a local Bar for a counter meal, the library of gins caught our eye and thank god it did! I can’t recommend highly enough the option to leave the food and drinks decisioning to the staff, they nailed everything -...perfectly paired the gins to each of us, the food was next level delicious, dish by dish truly a journey into gastronomic heaven. Delicious Gins, several I had never heard of nor would ever be likely to try. A broad selection of quality local and international wines - trust the experts behind the bar, you will not regret it.More

It was not a great night. We waited some time and had to chase a waiter for menus, and even then we had to find our own food menus. Food was pretty good, not fabulous. We had marked on our booking no salmon, and spoke...to staff about this before ordering the chefs menu. It didn’t seem to make it through to the kitchen as the salmon dish turned up and we had to send it back. Simple things like having to ask for water, and the water turning up with no glasses, did not help either. The young woman who appeared in charge was very good and was the only saving grace. The wine and gin menu is fabulous and we ended up with a free Shiraz, lovely of the staff. A table of clearly intoxicated people was also a big turn off. They were loud, swearing and generally foul. And they were served alcohol when they were clearly absolutely smashed. In fact one of them was urinating outside when we left. Would we go back? Probably not.More

Excellent food in tapas sharing style. Wonderful ambiance but service needs to be sharpened up. A little slow and haphazard delivery with what was a simple order. Pricy but you get what you pay for. Octopus was the stand-up dish

Wow, what a great spot to eat in the Barossa! We had booked and were so glad we did - the place was packed. The wall of gin was amazing and it would take many a visit to try them all. We enjoyed the scallops,...crayfish tails, scotch fillet and cos salad. Perfect sharing dishes paire with rose and beer. Would definately eat here again.More

Great wine bar with plenty of seating inside and out. Very busy, so obviously popular with everyone! The staff are very inviting and friendly and provide great service.

Obviously suffering from inexperienced staff who have no system of looking after tables. We enjoyed the food ( 5 dish shared option) but felt very rushed.

Had a great experience at Bar Musque. Service was good and tapas style food was delicious including the best gnocchi I have ever tasted. Extensive Gin list which is main reason for my visit did not disappoint!

Went here on Valentines Day and had their set menu experience. With high expectations to taste the Barossa we were really disappointed. The arancini balls tastes like they were cooked in old oil, the scallops like pizza, the pork was dry and the steak was...cold. The chips however were good. The service was really poor too which made the bad experience worse, no one asked how the meal was at any point. We left with our desserts in a takeaway box as we couldn’t stand it anymore. Disappointing for the acclaimed Barossa Valley.More

If you like shared plates with a bit of a vibe ambiance this will be a treat. Sort of high table seating in the small but lovely space. One of the best Gin walls I seen, so if you are a Gin lover you can...take your pick. The food was delicious not one of the items on the set menu disappointed us. You don’t have to the the set menu it’s just a suggestion. We would definitely go back, it’s a good idea book ahead as it gets busy.More

With a great selection of wines, beers, whiskeys, rums and over 400 gins this is going to be a great night, the food is tapas style and with a set price you get to choose 5 great dishes to share. Excellent food and service.

We went with a group of 6 people and the experience was mostly good. The service was pretty average but I know everywhere is struggling for good hospitality staff so that can be forgiven. The decor is quite strange for the style of bar /...restaurant this is. It feels more like a sterile office than a warm, convivial place to meet, eat & drink. The food was great but if the fit-out was updated to a warmer, cosier feel there wouldn't be such a disconnect between the experience and the environmentMore
