Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The shop and grounds are lovely. Family got their photo in the kitchen Maggie and Simon did their show. We ate at The Eatery and the food was sublime. Very much worth the visit.

Booked an Ultimate Farmshop Experience for my husband and myself and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Started at 11 with a cooking demo of a dessert, savory bread and a mushroom starter. We moved from the kitchen to the wine and gin rating area and...they brought through the food that was made in the demo for us to eat while we sampled wines. Then we were able to order our platter of breads, cheese, pate and salami before or after the spirit tasting. We had the platter with our glass of wine included in the tour overlooking the absolutely crystal clear dam, watching the turtles and ducks in the water. Finished with a short walk through the quince and olive trees around the farm before purchasing some produce and wines that we had sampled. So all in all spent around 3+ hours and it was a beautiful setting, very relaxed and staff were lovely. Thanks for a great day, we thought it was well priced and well worth a visit. I am a bit of a Maggie fan so it was on my list of things to do but I’m sure anyone would enjoy this day out. Take a designated driver!More

Someone said that we should visit this place which we did and loved the spot where they had this. Unfortunately the cafe/restaurant was closed but the shop was open. What a neat shop with all the yummies as well. Very rustic looking shop which is...right up my alley. Great outdoor space as well.More

My partner and I booked at Maggie Beers EATERY for lunch and to view this much talked about venue. We arrived slightly early as we wanted to view the rest of the farm before eating. As we were visiting from interstate and had heard good...reports our expectations of something special was in mind. THIS WAS A MISTAKE ON OUR PART. Upon entering the restaurant (albeit slightly earlier than our booked time) We were approached by a staff member who said that we were far too early for a 12.30 booking and that we should go away and come back later. Shortly after, we returned & encountered another staff member who was a little more pleasant and showed us our table. The menu was a little confusing & not extensive. We both chose the Beef which we were informed was "Wagyu" Beef. I have eaten Wagyu Beef before and this was NOT Wagyu Beef. it was not marbled in texture and was tough. The sweets followed which were nothing special. In conclusion it was an expensive exercise for something we could have ordered at a local pub. We were very disappointed with the lunch generally. If the Maggie Beer name is to be used one would expect it to be better food & service. I cannot recommend The Eatery.More

You just have to visit when you're in the Barossa. These days it is a very busy big business so not quite the cosy farmshop experience. But, if you're a fan..... Lots of great Maggie Beer products on sale.

What a gorgeous spot .. our friends and I were looking forward to a visit here and we weren't disappointed. It was unfortunate that it was raining which stopped us walking around the grounds but we loved browsing the produce available in the shop. The...coffee and food at the cafe were great. We wish we had booked in for a demonstration.More

Well we visited here for 45 minutes as part of the bus tour. Very nice property. They have a cooking school there as well as the shop. They also have guineafowl and other game birds in breeding cages. That’s probably why I only gave it...four out of 5 stars. When I went to look at the birds, it was a warm day and there was a small metal shelter in each cage and in one there was about 15 birds, all sitting on top of each other trying to get some Shade Under this bit of metal. They could’ve put a bit more shade for the poor birds. Anyway, the kitchen setup was fine, the shop was as you’d expect, the school was a very big, clean open building. It looked quite good. It had a big pond with lots of tortoises, which keep people entertained overall a very nice property. Apparently she was filming there the day before we got there. Didn’t make any difference for me. I’m not a super fan that’s for sure.More

We visited Maggie Beer’s on a picture perfect day in the stunning Barossa Valley. The grounds are lovely, the shop filled with treats and the tastings are well worth it! As the Farm was our first stop of the day, we choose to do the...“Mocktail Making Experience”. It was really interesting and delicious. So glad we did it. Of course, there is so much more to choose from including gin tastings, wine tastings, and even cheese tastings.More

We absolutely loved the Ultimate Experience at Maggie’s! We started with a fabulous cooking demonstration by Linda who was just delightful. Lucky to also taste the food! We then had a wine and gin tasting with the wonderful Jake who was so engaging, so knowledgeable...and clearly enjoyed what he did. This was followed by a very generous cheese and tasting platter, a chance to try many of the tasty treats that you can find in the farm shop. Overall, a truly memorable experience, loved seeing it all.More

There are many gourmet food items to collect from this shop, most of which are delicious to eat. You walk around and stop to grab "one of these, and one of those" and end up with a gourmet feast. Only issue is that way too...many other people had the same idea, it really is a busy place, and we visited mid week.More
