Not the greatest food available but it fills the stomach. I would prefer charcoal chicken rather than just grilled. The yiros is below average with cold precooked pieces of lamb refilled and not freshly cut from a vertical yiro machine. Taste of yiros is poor. Chicken is a bit better

I went to this restaurant not expecting much but had some of the best chicken and chips I’ve ever had. The staff are friendly and make all the food themselves.
Overall this is a great place for lunch

Food really hasn't changed at all since the new management has taken over, chicken still tastes as good as ever

Had the fish and chips the fish was huge barely fit in the massive takeaway box thick and tasty melted in the mouth best chips, the new owners and staff are great every time I’ve been in there since new owners food’s been tasty and melt in mouth huge portions of food get more than moneys worth, and so many options for food including Indian takeaway which are to die for!

the fish was like paper the chips were over cooked and they don't offer compensation for the lack of food in the meal even though there was paper thin fish.

It looks like there's new owners. I had a burger and it was not as nice, flavourful or big as previously. One of the main reasons I liked the burgers was the smokey bacon they used, unfortunately that was no longer on there

I live in Nuriootpa it is so bad I won't even go back to my local paid $17 for a crab stick chicko roll and small pasta salad and was terrible it has new owners not the lovely family business anymore and smells like they have. Curry Business running out the back

Impressed by previous reviews and wanted a quick light meal, ordered 1/2 chicken and chips which at $14 was a cheap takeaway meal for two. Unfortunately, chicken was very ordinary. Don’t know how old it was, Parson’s Nose was burnt black, skin was thick and dry and very chewy.

EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE!!!!
Kamiel & Amira went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate a request from us in California to prepare a surprise for my father’s 95th birthday.
The surprise was complicated to arrange and they did it ALL with incredible swiftness, KINDNESS, and AMAZING CREATIVITY!!!!!

Family meal time was great. Fish and chips was great as the fish was fresh. Variety of salads provides you with plenty of options. Both dine-in and take away options available. Ideal joint for a family meal.

Despite the name, Nuriootpa Chicken Centre has more than just chicken. It has a great selection of fish, salads, other seafood, Mediterranean, grills, and take-away hot packs.
You can even dine in house and have a refreshing 🍺 or glass of 🍷 with your meal.
The surrounds are pleasant and owner Kamiel is certain to make you feel welcome.

The food was not that good but the knowledge of the staff was the issue.
My wife is very Gluten intolerant, when she enquired about the coating on the chicken she was told to eat it and take a pill you’ll be okay. They obviously have no idea about ingredients, she had to tell them that the gravy was not gluten free.
