Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are from WA and this was a return visit.we chose 1 dot dog with sauce and 1 with onion plus coffees. It was a long time coming and arrived both with sauce and one had onion, they took one back and eventually it came...back as ordered. It was prepared in the microwave and was very hot ,very soggy and very disappointing. Will not return. Have had the same in other places and was delicious .More

Sunshine Bakery at Lyndoch is a must visit if you're headed to or through the Barossa Valley. The service is fast and friendly and the management must be great because the staff always seem happy to be there. It's not cheap (but not expensive either)...and you get what you pay for, which is top quality food in a friendly environment. Try the slices, mmmhmmm.More

We went yesterday and found it to be super over priced like many bakeries. Average food. Plus in the crazy times we live in you don’t expect the server’s to lick their finger to open several plastic carrier bags!!!!

Visited this cafe after searching for German Wurst in TripAdvisor. Staff did not even know what Sauerkraut was so we left. Food looked okay from what we could see but was not what we were looking for, so don’t be put off by my review.

I've visited several times for coffee and usually a pie. There are plenty of options to choose from and you can dine inside or on the verandah and watch the passing traffic.

Wednesday 16th. Let’s go to the Lyndoch bakery. Lower Mitcham to Mawson Lakes to pick up a friend and on to Lyndoch Bakery. Warm friendly greeting by the staff. That friendliness never changed throughout our short lunch break there. Only pastry lunch and coffee. Pastries...great, and so was the coffee. Comfortable well spaced dining area. Unlike many places we’ve dined there was no loud blaring “background music “ No music at all. We didn’t have to raise our voices at all. If only more establishments could do the same. Congratulations Lyndoch bakery for a pleasant outing. Keep up the great work,More

Went here and ordered focaccia, a bowl of chips, cheeseburger and bruschetta. Food took approx 40 minutes, chips seemed reheated after going cold. Bruschetta was poor, almost warm and soggy. Bruschetta was terrible especially at the price point of ($14). Chicken Foccacia was terrible, cheeseburger...was okay, not fantastic. Table next to us had wrong food taken to the table. Would not recommend.More

We stopped at the Lyndoch Bakery as part of a private tour we took of Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. At the suggestion of our guide we tried two German pastries. Both were very good. The service was helpful and friendly.

Just popped in to get a loaf of bread on the recommendation of a relative. You would expect fresh bread from a bakery. This bread was at least a couple of days old. Would not go back again.
