Very disappointing menu unless you want breakfast. Great chips, but not much choice when it comes to meals.

Called in for lunch whilst travelling for work. No obvious vegan option apart from the obligatory salad. I then spot a chicken burger on brioche with sweet potatoe fries - vegan option available 👍 The conversation when ordering went like this; Me: hey I would...like the chicken burger and sweet potato fries but the vegan option please. H&S: okay Me: so is this a vegan patty? H&S: no, we just remove the chicken Me: so what about the cheese? H&S: we remove that too Me: And the coleslaw dressing? H&S: yes we remove that. Me: So the vegan alternative is a bun and fries? H&S: Well yes. I couldn't believe it. They would have no doubt charged me the full price and I bet the brioche wasn't vegan either! This is not a 'vegan option'. Don't say you do a vegan option if you don't! The coffee was great but if you're looking for a vegan feed look elsewhere.More
This is obviously a very popular establishment - when we were there it was extremely busy. The staff very very attentive . the refreshments were very good - my wife considers that the muffins were the best that she has tasted this year. Congratulation. VERY...HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDMore
While traveling back home from Melbourne we were looking for a coffee and being a Sunday there was very little open. Fortunately we saw Henry & Rose Cafe and I went in and found a delightful shop. The staff were FIRST CLASS - HELPFUL &...POLITE. I purchased a Blueberry & Almond muffin for my wife. She was very happy and said if was the best muffin she had eaten in a very long time. We will certainly be returning. Highly Recommended,More
Delicious lunch, good coffee served by friendly, helpful staff, interesting gift shop, Henry and Rose Cafe would not be out of place in Double Bay or Toorak. Lucky residents of and visitors to Keith, SA. Staff were very conscious of good hygiene and took appropriate...Covid safe precautions.More
Very pleased with our late stop for food, just what we needed. Warm chicken roll and super hot yummy coffee. Our dog enjoyed the peaceful setting out front as well 👍
It’s number 1 for a reason. We stopped here for delicious coffees whilst doing border control for SAPOL and on last day we went for breakfast!! Wow, the nicest breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The Henry and rose breakfast bowl!! Lucy the owner...runs a great cafe that has a lovely ambience both inside and out. Not only the food is great but the gift shop is amazing too. Lucy made us feel so special giving us brownies and muffins for our services. So lovely to feel so welcome and appreciated. Will be backMore
Stopped in for breakfast one morning, used to be a great place with good coffee, now serving a pretty ordinary coffee, clearly not Mahalia as before, food now minimal serve but still same price. Not a relaxing atmosphere, not too many people in there but...still staff seemed stressed and rushing around.More
We departed Adelaide Sat 29 Feb for Mt Gambier - and at about lunchtime I googled places to eat. Had imagined a pie and coke at a highway cafe if we were lucky. This popped up - we had to drive 5 mins further past...our turnoff. What a find ... lovely garden, cafe, gift shop, superb food. Friendly staff. It was probably the best cafe we visited in all of Adelaide, Melbourne and on the way in between. Make it a "go to" destination. Well worth it.More
We drove from Melbourne to Adelaide in an EV and stopped for the charging station. Henry and Rose Cafe doesn’t have any competition so it’s extra kudos that this fantastic cafe and gift shop was so good. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve...had and the chicken Caesar toasted sandwich was excellent. It’s run by lovely ladies who provide good friendly service.More
