Loved the Barra lunch. I enjoyed the nachos also. Had a good vibe. We sat outside and was very comfortable the inside they have espresso martini on tap.

We made a booking for lunch and when we arrived there was no booking for us. We were told to just find a table and sit where ever. When we got our food it was cold and the burger didn't have bacon on it even...though when I ordered it I ask for bacon and was told it already comes with bacon. The manager then acted like it was my fault that there was no bacon on the burger. I won't be going back anytime soon.More

Great food… fantastic beers, though a bit slow. We ordered the Texas tray which was excellent. Really good American BBQ style food

Made a booking for 3 with some friends from Adelaide and I wasn't disappointed. I was warmly welcomed and taken to the reserved table - nice touch with the tiny blackboard + easel! Friends arrived and menus reviewed, wine ordered and we waited - probably...a little bit too long as there was just two other parties there. Our party ordered a rare porterhouse steak $39, a grave diggers burger $23 and I had the Mississippi Meat tray $39. The burger diner enjoyed his but the steak eater complained that as arrived medium to well-done!! As she was hungry, she ate her steak but did point out the error to the waitress. We asked for salt & the pepper mill and was given little sachets of salt and pepper like you get at a takeaway - very odd! When asked for a steak knife, they didn't have them either - a bit surprising as this is a BBQ eatery. As for the Tray, the brisket was tender but just two small slices, chicken good and single sausage tasty although the mac'n'cheese was a little lackluster. The extra side of slaw $2.50 was great - lightly dressed with oil+vinegar with the dill adding a nice touch! Good but not Great. They need to try harder to be the BBQ & Grill in Gawler.More

Decent food, but quite expensive. Overall great flavours and delicious meals, but very expensive for the little service you receive. There is no table service and staff aren’t really helpful.

Really disappointed with the exchange. We booked a table for 5 and received little service. This place is too pricey to not offer any form of table service.. Maybe have a dining area with table service seperate to the bar? I think this place is...trying to do too much; nightclub, restaurant, bar, pub and sportsbar.. The food was ok but predominantly thick, heavy meat dishes or a light salad.More

The food was good and the drinks range wasn’t bad. When it came to the sport it was pretty awful. Despite the Rugby Union World Cup final already being shown at half time they changed it to a random soccer game. After multiple requests ,...and the soccer game finishing - we still couldn’t get the rugby. Not good enoughMore

We were staying in Gawler for a night, while trundling around the Barossa. Thought that we’d try the Murray BbQ at Hotel, and glad we did. Happy, helpful, cheery staff, and 3x $4 Tacos hit the spot perfectly. I asked Barman for a recommendation for...a wine by the glass, and both my husband and I appreciated his choice of Chardonnay. Tacos had fresh, clean taste, and I particularly enjoyed my first ever prawn taco! A fun, relaxing night. Many thanks from tired travellers who felt welcomed by friendly staffMore
