We were lucky that they managed to fit us in as a walk in. Such lovely staff, great food and wine. The hostess was amazing and the whole atmosphere was welcoming.

Such a delicious and memorable lunch. Was recommended to ask for the "feed me" menu where small plates of local and chef food specialities are brought out on a regular basis. Every dish was well explained and tasted great. Vegetarian and pescetarian options available. The...waiter, Paul, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Such a great experience. Will definitely be back. Pizza is also good apparently.More

Wow what a sensational find in the Penola Area, had lunch there recently. started with the house baked smoked and with a tinge of burnt bread with home butter, onto a very tasty tomato salad, pork chop and a magnificent sauce and then ricotta gnocci...with burnt butter and sage, accompanied by more bread to mop up the juice.. aboustly delicious. ohh dont forget to buy a bottle of Cabernet! Go there, just go there.More

We had lunch here while staying in Coonawarra. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, Just wish we'd had another night there so we could go back again! We didn't have the pizza, but it looked awesome!

We dined here for lunch, while staying in Penola. We decided to take the option of Chefs Choice, which was kind of exciting. We decided in a local Rose to go with this. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the morsels offered. My...only complaint, would be that a lot of the dishes were a creamy based taste. I would have preferred maybe one or two fresh tasting dishes. A very minor concern.More

And they gave us a lift back to our accommodation!! Sensational! The Pinot Gris and Graciano were...superb. Will return!!!More

So good we went twice in four days! Best meal hands down we had in our four days in the Coonawarra, even better than much more expensive and highly rated restaurants in and around Penola. The expertise in two different styles of cuisine both being...on offer in the one restaurant was refreshing and delicious. Over two meals we experienced prawn buns, pork croquettes, tomato salad with sesame labne, zucchini and goats curd custard, white cut chicken, ricotta gnocchi and two different pizzas. There was not one dish that didn’t impress us. Service was exceptional, wine very good and food just outstanding. The pizzas here are fantastic but there is so much more on offer that is brilliant. Definitely two meals to remember!More

What a super little restaurant this is! Plenty of choice on the menu but we couldn’t go past the pizzas. Delicious and different. Great wines and excellent service. Cute place with plenty of atmosphere. Definitely recommend this one.
