Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Burra Hotel is the place to go for a delicious meal in very comfortable surrounds!! The Staff were all very welcoming and friendly and made sure that we were looked after each time we went there. A great selection of meals is available at...good pub prices and all the ones we had were just delicious and plentiful!! Would thoroughly recommend the Lamb Pie and the Lamb Shanks. If you are visiting Burra make sure you pay a visit to this pub for a great meal and good atmosphere!!More

We’ve been using the Burra Hotel as the starting point for outback trips for thirty years. It used to be $20 a night for a bed. This pub is the real deal. Friendly, great pub food and brilliant old school accomodation. We love it. Don’t...come here if you’re expecting a rural Hilton, or a pooncey North Terrace like menu.More

This pub is a joke! Unfriendly and unprofessional, telling a group having a birthday to move because a horrid camera crew wants a photo of their family and the pubs empty when locals are lining up to get in the door for a drink being...told they have right of way (this is a public area) I suffer from extreme anxiety and the way this pub owner spoke to the group and i was not acceptable and to mimic me under her breath isnt cool youre a middle aged lady! You've lost a lot of serviceMore

Country town hotel with nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Lamb pie was to die for but the schnitzel was a little disappointing. Meals were served in a timely manner. The hotel redeemed itself by way of the friendly staff. We would definitely go there...again.More

Centrally located, this charming old pub offers a nice ambiance, friendly service and without question the Burra Lamb Pies live up to the owners’ claim that they’re the best!! They’re made on the premises from a secret recipe - apparently even the chef doesn’t know...whats in them, the owners make them themselves. Encased in crispy, golden flaky pastry (homemade) and packed solidly with an utterly delicious roasted lamb filling, every bite was bliss. Smooth and creamy mash and a generous serve of nicely steamed veg completed the meal. Glad we found them!More

The staff were extremely helpful and competent with special request for seating looked after no problem. The food was very tasty, well cooked and presented. Just what we were after on a cold night after lots of walking during the day. Unfortunately we are only...here for one night and so I will not get to sample more of the menu. This place gives pub food a great name but it is more that that and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in the Burra area. The salt bush sausages are to die for.More

I went to the Burra Hotel on a Wednesday night when we stayed overnight in Burra. You would need to contact the hotel itself and I'm sure you could find the contact information through Trip Advisor
