Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is such an impressive cafe. The food , coffee and customer service was of such high quality . I had the falafel ball wrap and it was the best I’d ever eaten . Also the store attached which sold an eclectic range of goods...was excellent. Prices were so good and the lady serving was just so lovely .More

Beautiful coffee & cake, decent size pieces of lemon cheesecake & carrot cake. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Very reasonable in price. Whilst we didn't have breakfast or lunch there speaking with travellers in the caravan park reports were that a great menu.

Drove to Burra to have a look around and decided on lunch at the cafe. Burra is an old town and the buildings exterior and interior are somewhat on the elderly, quirky side. The Cafe was quite efficient and is obviously well supported. We had...a morning tea there before coming back for lunch as the place impressed us. So much old utensils, dishes, things of interest on the walls, the ceiling etc to make things interesting while eating and drinking. Friendly and affable staff - got our orders in both cases in quick time. Good place for a stopMore

This was a good little stop in the historic town of Burra. My husband chose apple pie and cream and I chose a BLT toastie. Both dishes were excellent, the service was good and the prices were fair.

Have eaten here before. It is in a handy location in the main street and had a good range of food for a small place. It is always pleasant there. Nice coffee too. Thank you.

I spent most days here for either a morning coffee, an 'arvo tea', lunch or breakfast. The shop originally was an old coop building under a long verandah. Its been opened up to combine two frontages and there is a generous amount of both old...and new wares to purchaseMore

absolutely disgusted!! Girl named Destiny was extremely rude, didn’t even place the coffee in front of myself and my friend. Rudely put it on the table. When she brought out our food she placed one in front of myself and proceeded to lean over to...put the plate in front of my friend! Will never be coming back again! Absolutely disgusted will be telling people about this I would give this place 0 if I couldMore

Very friendly people, lovely spot and coffee pretty good. Didn't try the food. Lovely warm outdoor seating under heaters or plenty of cosy indoor seating

Dropped in twice when we passed through and later visited Burra. First time we had coffee sitting at an outside table , watching the world go by, and the second sat inside and had a very pleasant lunch of quiche and salads. Coffee was good...though served a little hot for my taste. The inside is a little like Aladdin’s cave and is well worth a wander. Ordering is at the counter and all staff encountered very very friendly and welcoming.More
