We were lucky enough to dine at Terroir twice on the weekend and we were all very impressed with the restaurant. Our first visit started with having the door opened by one of the staff and being seated. Nice ambience and service was prompt and efficient. The highlight was the food - beautifully presented, some adventurous options, great flavours and... More

We were a bit disillusioned by the 'foodie' vibe in the Clare Valley, as there's not a lot of options. Looking for lunch with 2 winery restaurants full and 2 other food places closed at 2 for lunch (by this time it was after 2). So we were extremely grateful to find Terroir Auburn and it couldn't have turned out... More

Late lunch after a couple of big tastings in the Clare and we lucked out in finding Terroir! No nonsense and speedy service with carefully and cleverly composed tasting plates. Beautifully fresh ingredients and generous size serves, we shared the prosciutto wrapped figs, the stuffed zucchini flowers and the potato skins with black pudding - all superb! Lovely old dining... Had a fantastic tasting menu at a great price. We went to Auburn to try this restaurant on the advice of the Good Eats Guide and were very pleased we did.

Was travelling with friends who had mentioned this place. But we didn't think we could get in. The chances of going to a cellar door and meeting chef Rohans mum got us there. Julie called through and got us a table. Well the service was fantastic - the food Bloody amazing and just one of the best dining experiences. This... More

We were here mid week on a 'local appreciation night' where it was $50 for 3 courses which was exceptional value. Food was absolutely delicious and service very speedy. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.

We had a relaxing lunch recently at Terroir, on our way back from a long weekend in Burra. We had booked a week or two before but probably didn't need to as it certainly wasn't full on the holiday Monday. The waiting staff were friendly and professional, the wine list impressive, as was the menu. The flavours were fresh and... More
