Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I only had coffee from her but the lady was very friendly and lovely engaged in conversation and made excellent coffee. Her meals smelt delicious but we were out each night and dint get to try them. But if your staying at the motel give this lady a go.

What a surprise. I must say that this little cafe is a hidden gem. The food was fresh and so good. I had the Honey Chicken and rice. Best I have ever tasted. Great selection of food and at a very reasonable price. Will go there every time I go to the Barossa.

Fresh homemade Sushi available with multiple choices of filling, my favourite is the spicy tuna, the teriyaki chicken is great too. I cannot go there without having the homemade spring rolls or the freshly baked pork belly in a roll with Asian salad.

Stayed there 3 days the first morning breakfast which we had vouchers for each day it was three quarters of an hour late opening and late the next day as well. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast with plenty to choose from. The cleanliness was not good for a restaurant like this.

We were staying at the attached Angaston Vineyard Motel and Joanne’s Cafe was our breakfast stop. She does a great Eggs Benedict. A friendly country cafe, small but with a good variety of menu. Thank you!

What a fantastic meal! The Singapore Noodles were sensational and the Spring Rolls the best we have ever tasted. Warm and friendly service topped off a magnificent meal. Cheers

We are staying next door so strolled over for lunch with a long time friend we were catching up with. While the place is mostly a takeaway place with a few chairs, it was flat out busy the whole time we were there so we knew our food would be fresh. We started with a selection of cold spring rolls-they were pre made, and presented in the takeaway container, but were packed full of ingredients and very acceptable. For mains I had chicken laksa, husband Russ salt and pepper squid and our friend seafood laksa. All cooked fresh to order, really well flavoured and big generous serves-especially of the different proteins we ordered. I'd have given 5 stars if I hadn't had to ask to have our table wiped and the cold rolls had been served on plates.

A basic self-serve Continental breakfast was offered at this Cafe, basic, but quite adequate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Several types of juice were on offer, kept cold in the fridge, as was milk, whole or light. Lots of choices of cereals and plenty of fresh fruit. Several types of bread, toaster provided for guests' use. Coffee or tea (tea bags) was instant with hot water from the urn. They also offered cooked breakfast and made coffees according to guests request, but not as part of the Continental breakfast. A choice of many prepacked jams, marmalade, honey; butter in the fridge. Other foods may be available during other times of day. We came for breakfast only, several times. Basic but good.
