Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had not been there for a while, we ordered take away and the food was fantastic and they were obliging to vary a dish to your taste..

Tonguing for good Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai ... at a pinch there are some cold filled rolls here that will satisfy. Other dishes are quite gluggy and stodgy.

I have visited this restaurant several times since it opened and every time come away thinking I wish I could like it more. The food is okay; definitely not Vietnamese but more Chinese. What I find very irritating is the service. I went with my partner and we were very cursorily received, were pointed towards a table and not one smile passed the waiter's face. I think perhaps there was a language difficulty but perhaps this needs to be addressed in order to have better service

Never again. Two mains, one full of raw thick onion. Special fried rice had 5 peas and some grated carrot NOTHING ELSE. This is why we don’t eat in the town we live in.

A mix of Chinese & Vietnamese cuisine. Very tasty. Good banquet on a Sunday night. Busy takeaway section also says a lot about the good menu.

The service was very poor, we waited over an hour after getting entrees to get our mains yet the restaurant wasn't even half full and only a handful of people walked in to collect take aways. Neither waitress managed a smile the entire time we were there. When our mains finally arrived, one dish at a time over about five minutes, the honey prawns were the most unappetizing thing I had ever seen in a restaurant, the prawns were colourless and tasteless and there wasn't a vegetable in sight apart from a spring of parsley (not sure why a Chinese restaurant is garnishing with parsley). I ended up having to have a little bit of everyone else's meals because it was uneatable. When we complained to the waitress we were told they had run out of their usually supply of prawns. They would have been better off just leaving all the prawn dishes off the menu. The other meals were okay. We also tried to order two serves of dim sims but could only get one as they ran out of dim sims.

Its not high end fare, but very nice food to suit all the family at reasonable prices, I went their with my daughter and we both enjoyed an array of food, once again letting the staff guide me in choosing vegan options. They were very accommodating in making helping us through the menu, even with chef coming out to our table to discuss our requirements. Prawns were little baby shrimp which was a let down for my daughter but the salt & peeper tofu was the best I have ever had.

We felt like some clean fresh Vietnamese flavours that reminded us of the country but were sorely disappointed. Have never had Vietnamese without coriander, soy, lime and slices of fresh red chilli with moderate heat. All of this was missing. The broth was very sweet, and not reminiscent of Vietnamese food I've had at all. The dishes were mostly 'combination' meats and to me this is Chinese. Will definitely skip this one next time.

Staff were friendly and a good wine list also, the food was not very exciting as most of the food we had was the same type of Asian food you get from the supermarket ..home made goodies would be better and advise this to the customers...we love it.

Had a meal here with my family. It has a good menu with a variety of options for everyone. Chinese resturants in country towns can be hard to come by so appreciate the chance to eat here. Also does take away, which seems to be a large part of its trade.

I visited Oanh Kitchen when it first opened and was disappointed that there was no Vietnamese food on the menu. The food was very good... but... I've used it as a THai/Chinese for takeaway, but today I went in... new menu... and....VIETNAMESE!!! Not a lot of dishes but they said they are taking things slowly. Seems odd, but now you can actually get pho there. The food is still very very good, prices reasonable and the people are friendly. Service for takeaway can be a bit slow at times. It's worth waiting. I'd highly recommend it.
