We managed to get a table out the back having made a last minute decision to eat out. Staff were not really helpful in offering us a time frame as to when a table might be available in restaurant area. Food came in a timely...manner. It was nice but expensive for what was presented. The Indian tasting plate was all about the naam bread, shame as to add a couple of pickles to go with two small chicken tikka skewers and a bowl of chickpea curry would have made it a really nice meal. Lamb rack was tasty but again the portion size was small. A few more vegetables would have helped. This is. Pub, food we had was nice but price was extortionate.More

Overpriced with terrible service. The girl who served us was so rude, she slammed our menus and cutlery down on the table and walked away, no smile, no conversation, not helpful and didn’t offer to answer any questions for us...she was rude at the counter...and didn’t feel welcome at all. We then looked at the menu prices and thought there’s no way we were gonna pay that price for a meal with such awful service. Won’t be back.More

I decided to book a family dinner here after two previous visits earlier in the year. At that time, it was a good pub with decent meals. I should have realised when they failed to even record my booking that things would not bode well...time around. The manager did a good job in hastily setting up a table for 7. The ambience wasn’t great - very noisy and dark but I guess it was a public holiday in peak season. Note: don’t go to this pub in peak season. The staff appeared harried and drinks took forever to order because there just weren’t enough staff rostered. This is a big place and needs double to current complement of staff. I had always had good food here previously, so we were really disappointed with the fare presented to us this time around. I had the rib fillet and at $49 a pop I was expecting a LOT more than what I received. Most of our dishes were cold or Luke warm and the menu was just a bit .... weird. Don’t know where they have recruited their kitchen staff from??? The overworked wait staff did their best on the night - but after two previous visits which were good - I was utterly disappointed with this one. Very overpriced and underwhelming.
