Flour is an artisan coffee shop, wildly popular by serving aromatic coffee, breakfast and lunch. With an extensive menu that has something to suit everyone’s tastes. Come and try the Flavours @ Flour. Upon arrival one is greeted with the sweet aroma of espresso and our fresh baked cakes. Our oven to table approach is what the people have come to love. Walked into town from our caravan park

After our walk we were looking for coffee and breakfast. After putting our lotto on we ask the lovely lady to recommend somewhere and she said you can’t go passed Flour. We had a lovely table overlooking the street and the chairs had comfortable cushions. My brand new husband ordered Golden Smashed Potatoes which were topped with bacon, poached eggs, spinach with hollandaise sauce and I had the Pumpkin Fritters topped with bacon, poached eggs and Flour’s own hollandaise sauce. Our lattes were one of the best we’ve had and our meals were amazing. We loved the whole experience so much so we went back the next day for breakfast. Highly recommend Flour.

The best eggs Benedict you will find on the coast

the flour Cafe situated in the heart of yeppoon. The staff there not only make you feel welcome, they accommodate to your needs. They cater for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters all alike and the service is second to none. I always like to change the original order from the menu to see if the cafes can handle it. This Cafe, the flour Cafe, gets 10 out of 10 for service, friendliness and quality of food. I tried eggs Benedict at a few other places around the coast, and this place wins hands down. They cater for the kids as well and make the experience great for them. For a family, couple or single, this is the place to go. Coming from Melbourne, I'd say this place is in my top two of all of Australia. Thats how good this place is. I'm usually very critical of cafes, but this place I can't say a bad word about. Its rare I visit a cafe twice while on holidays, but I went 3 times in 5 days. To the girls and the chef at flour, best cafe in Central Queensland, well done.

While holidaying in Yeppoon, our friends recommended breakfast at Flour. We are so glad they did, firstly the coffee was second to none, breakfast was outstanding. Well done to all the amazing staff, we suggest if you are in Yeppoon, a visit to Flour is a must.

Very nice little cafe but unfortunately our waitress wasn’t too nice

Cute place for breakfast and food is delicious. Unfortunately our waitress was a bit rude. There were quite a few mistakes with our order which isn’t a problem at all but our waitress wasn’t very nice about it when we pointed it out (in a very friendly way). Two of our eggs Benedict came out without avo, even though we ordered it and paid the extra money. When mentioned the waitress said quite rudely that ‘you have to mention that at the counter’ and brought it out but visibly annoyed. Remind you we did ask for it at the counter and paid for it. Another meal had a hair in it which again isn’t a problem but when pointed out to the waitress she first pretended she couldn’t see it when 4 of us did. She just generally was quite rude which was disappointing cause the atmosphere and food (apart from the little incidents) were amazing!!! I’ve personally worked in customer service and rudeness is never acceptable. It unfortunately can ruin a otherwise nice experience.

Average service, the food came late but restaurant was not busy, quite small portions compared to the price range. I didn't feel there was much care in making the customers feel welcome and happy. Glasses smelling like egg... I am not rushing back here any time soon. Not recommended if you want to have a nice/special or midweek meal with partner or friends.

Nice breakfast

Breakfast and coffee was delicious however inconsistent COVID-19 measures in place. No complimentary table water due to COVID-19 we were told, how is washing a bottle different from washing any cutlery? I suggest putting some signage up to direct your take away traffic, as we sat for breakfast (visited twice), we could see multiple groups mainly new customers confused by the traffic flow and where to order. Service is by very young "trainee" like staff. Perhaps have them ask if customers want salt/pepper and offer warmer service.

Flour is a Yeppoon staple for breakfast

What we like the most about flour is their consistency. Staff are always friendly and eager to help, even when they're under the pump. The coffee is always nice and warm The food is always delicious Overall the entire package is good value for money MIL has, for health reason, a rather restrictive diet and there are always so many tasty options on the menu for her to try or modify. It's such a refresher to see an inclusive menu where the vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/lactose free options aren't just an after thought

Delicious Gluten Free Options

Whether it is coffee and cake, breakfast or lunch, this boutique cafe has the most delicious fresh bakes in central Yeppoon. Gluten free options are available. Is outdoor dining so can catch a good sea breeze.

Too Spicy Eggs Benedict

I wish the Hollandaise sauce wasn’t so heavily seasoned with pepper! This ruined the complete dish for me. Coffee 3/4 latte was really good. The restaurant has a wait to be seated sign which doesn’t add to the atmosphere. There is very little choice to customers where they can sit. For a coffee shop this is weird!

Wonderful Breakfast

We had a terrific breakfast here whilst on holiday. Friendly service and orders taken quickly. It was a busy morning, so there was a slight wait, but expected when busy. Meals were delivered, good size servings, the bacon and eggs were perfect. Price is probably a little higher than I expect, but ok anyway. Will certainly return when in Yeppoon.

Must try Flour!

Absolutely beautiful! There is something for everyone. I was very surprised at how everything in the plate not only looked good, but was cooked to perfection. For drink I had chai tea made in my choice of milk and it was unreal. Those I was with had coffee and are coffee snobs; they agreed it was absolutely delicious. If I had to pick a downfall it would be that cutlery on our table hadn’t been replenished so we had to ask for some extras but that is it. The waitress got it without hesitation and her table manner was outstanding. Will be back!

I’ve only visited Flour on four occasions, but so far I can’t fault this little place. Beautiful food, fantastic customer service, lovely staff, catering to all dietary requirements and drive through great tasting coffee. Overall Flour is a lovely experience that I highly recommend.

Perfection. 👌 I’m almost always have Eggs Benedict when I go out for breaky. My wife asked me today, “ if you have Eggs Benedict every time, what makes one better than the other? “ The poached eggs must be runny in the middle without the white having a tiny bit of ‘clear’ (uncooked). ✅ The Salmon mustn’t be cooked from the heat of the eggs or extras (such as Halloumi). ✅ The Hollandaise sauce shouldn’t be squirted out of a bottle and there needs to be enough to mix up with both the eggs, salmon and any extras. ✅ There should be Baby Spinach leaves or cooked Spinach that is fresh and of the correct quantity. ✅ Extras. The Halloumi must be fried in a way that it takes up the texture of something pan fried in oil but doesn’t become tough like the rubber of an old thong. ✅ The Avocado must be ripe (not firm) and either sliced thinly or mushed up so that the presentation and softness is just right. ✅ All that must be achieved without the eggs or Halloumi going cold. ✅ The coffee must be excellent - not bitter, and smooth. ✅ That’s the in-depth reason why Flour scored a five from five from me. (My personal Eggs Benedict scoring system gave them 8/8. Woo hoo!) 👏

Enjoyable

Really really enjoyed the food and coffee last year, so returned. But this year I didn't enjoy the coffee flavour in my cup as much as the other half did in his mug. I can only think I'm not fond of the roast in these coffee beans or the express may have just been a bit different. The smoky beans were a hit again, delicious. My chicken pasta salad was okay. I thought grilled chicken and roasted pumpkin meant a warm salad. The staff were as always friendly. Book a table as they get very busy. Would come back again.

Just such good homely food. Awesome Service, Yeppoon is just really good for Breakfasts but Flour and Citrus are just a bit ahead of everything else in town. Had the Golden Potato's add savoury mince. The pesto on top is so good.
