Beautiful modern restaurant wine bar underneath Salt apartments directly across the road from the beach. Lunch Tapas & Dinner 7 days/nights a week. Breakfast - Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings from 7.30am. Awarding winning coffee. 50 wines to choose from. 25 cocktails, spirits & beer on tap.
Tired of giving this place the benefit of the doubt. Inconsistent quality, made to feel you don’t know what you are talking about, lip service and staff that don’t actually know what they are serving. Poor value for money, I’m done!
We waited an hour and a half for our food with no approach by staff in that time. We watched another party arrive, be served, pay and leave before our food arrived. No apology offered just excuses, and no offer of a drink or discount...for the loooooooong wait.
This service is not at the standard we experienced with other businesses in Yeppoon.
Fantastic evening, the food was absolutely delicious. We had three courses and all meals were beautiful. Great wine and cocktail selection. Could not fault the service, very attentive. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Nice atmosphere, and one dish was good. The restaurant is under a complex called Salt, and one main course was ruined by an extraordinary amount of salt. It could have been so nice, and it was completely ruined by a ridiculous amount of salt (...and I like salt). When asked about the meal by the head waitress I gently gave my feedback and she was immediately defensive : “it’s the way we do it”, “we’re not going to change anything “. Appalling customer service! The chef needs a rethink and so does that waitress. Will not eat there again, and will advise my local family and friends to avoid.More
We visited Vue twice on our 5 day trip to Yeppoon. The food was good however the service from the owner was terrible. This restaurant commands a high price but we felt so rushed with the waitress reminding us that they had a booking straight...after (even after I booked days in advance) and when they don’t take your order for quite some time, they don’t exactly allow enough time to enjoy your meal. we were expected to eat and run. This is definitely not a family friendly place to eat. Food was good but you’ll have to overlook the service.More
What a great experience. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was outstanding.
Everything was cooked to perfection and the cocktail list is extensive and some of the best our group had tasted.
I highly recommend!
The setting is modern and sets a high expectation that the food will be good, this hope is supported by the high prices for what are basically pub meals.
We sat and watched five tables, who arrived after us, being served their mains before us....Then came the seafood platter for two $120.
The oysters were not fresh at all , actually slimy, the prawns, B grade woolies prawns at best had more wrinkles than a nursing home, the beer battered prawns were nearly dripping with oil and the fish was dry.
It was the worst seafood platter I have ever had.
The cook (can't possibly be a chef) should seriously consider carpentry, or anything other than employment in the food industry.More
