We tried there food there were 6 adults plus 2 children of us at Southport The food was not great and when we paid the bill for what we had was expensive with extras added on everything including $26 holidays surcharge and credit card use...so $180 for a slimy broth and uncooked cold noddles we also got charge for extra noodles and gyoza which none of us had they were very busy so maybe they cut corners in their meals To top it off this moment two of the adults and children are very sick when we got homeMore

We forget to capture her name but She's definitely the only one who has full sleeves tattoo on her arm and she wears vans shoes if you see her please do not be discouraged to eat at Ramen Danbo...Southport, All staff were lovely only her will ruin the reputation of the business. Me and my partner choose Ramen Danbo Southport as our go to place every time we crave for ramen and that is the reason why we sign up for the membership reward. The more we eat the more we can get a chance of having some discount/voucher. Just later today 20th of November me and my partnerd decided to eat at Ramen Danbo Southport in the Afternoon. We ordered 2 Classic ramen Nitamago with extra chashu, bean sprouts and order 2 classic gyoza as that's our favorites. We then tried to get our 10 dollar voucher on the website unfortunately the website is down due to maintenance upgrade so the website prompt us to a different website where we can claim the voucher and it says show the staff the voucher when ready to pay. Now, we thought we are already settle then the ramen comes first and we see that the soup is not even filled up to the normal serving and the noodle is pretty dry then I approaced her in a nice way as I know this is not the standard soup portion and then she said all soup servings is the same in here and for us not to cause fuss I just asked if we can have extra soup and we will pay for it. She then rolled her eyes and says do you need a full serving or what I just said okay just give us full servings. After having that awful discussion me and my partner just tried to enjoy the day. When we are then finished eating she clean our table in a very rude manner and when we are about to pay even tho there is another lady who can assist us she run and really tried to discrimate us. I am about to pay and shows her our voucher and then she said sorry but I needed to see the original voucher and I said this picture was taken today as you can see because your website is broken. She then asked us to go to the website, ask for our numbers and name and keep rolling her eyes. This is such a horrible experience and so sad to know there is this kind of employee in Ramen Danbo Southport. To the employer there may be a lot of customer out there she tried to discriminate and this kind of employee should not be given a job with the negative attitude she gave towards the Business.More

Absolutely amazing food. Really good for price. Went with a big group and everyone loved it. Wish they had a few more alcoholic options like soju. But the beer I tried was very nice.

You order with your phone! Choose your Ramen, specify how you want it, add style and topping and some sides and your good to go. We are novices, not knowing what was what so stuck to the middle of the road. The Gyoza was great...and we enjoyed our meal. Only complaint was the egg was a bit old and rubbery. We will be back.More

Haven’t had Ramen in years as the one I tried was terrible. I have been staying at The Hilton and everytime I walked past it smelt amazing. So 2 days in I caved and had some. We have been here a week and I have...had it 3 times. All different dishes, all delicious!More

We requested table of 7 but they gave us 2 dirty tables seperate! They pretend can’t speak english! But we heard their english conversation with the other customer! Dirty table, really gross! Hakuro is our waitress, she served our ramen and didn’t say anything what...ramen is it, when we double checked she LEFT with roll eyed! She looks not happy!!!!! Unbelievable service!!!!More

I am a repeat customer to the surfers store and was very excited to hear the opening of the southport location. The ramen is amazing and consistent quality everytime you visit. Highly recommend you eat here if youre a fan of japanese food.

Best ramen I have found on the Gold Coast! Hopefully it opens back up soon but lucky there is one in surfers paradise that is just as good and can give me my ramen fix. Highly recommendMore

Pleasantly surprised with the level of flavours and care gone into preparing such wholesome Japanese food, if your in Gold Coast check it out, there are 2 stores, here and one in Brisbane. Authentic pork Japanese ramen Gyoza was nice aswell!...Cheap, fulfilling and delicious!More

Danbo is always good for a quick, hearty lunch. Food comes out fast and is good quality. While the broth can be very salty (even when you ask for mild broth) it is very enjoyable.

Stayed 4 nights here for a family holiday, been there for 2 dinner, kids loves it and so does my wife. Overall recommended. Tried most of the menus there, a must go for visitors!
