Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cosy little place for tea and cakes. Light lunch is also available. You can also but flowers and chocolate. Not a large a selections cakes, but a good variation. We had the, so can’t say anything about coffee. Very friendly service.

Our second visit to the Tea Room. Friendly service and the food is superb. The High Tea is a delightful way to celebrate a birthday or a catch up with good friends. We had a mix of old fashioned sandwiches, hot pastries and mouthwatering desserts....If a High Tea is too much I recommend the scones with jam and cream they are light and fluffy. Plenty of street parking available.More

Best little coffee shop/restaurant in the Lockyer Valley and the place to go in Laidley. Everything is fresh and lovely aroma from all the flowers for sale.

I love the Laidley Florist & Tea Room. It's small, quaint, full of fresh flowers (of course) ... it's my go to place whenever I visit Laidley. Also in Patrick Street, I never miss a visit to Potato Shack ... a lovely shop with small...beautifully crafted and sourced giftable items using a lot of natural materials. Love both of these.More

We were out for lunch and a drive and decided to check out Laidley, about 45 minutes from Toowoomba. Our lunch at the Rustique RoseTea Room was very good and the ambience created with the fine China and flowers added to a happy visit. Our...vegetarian meals and desserts were fresh and delivered by a very pleasant and efficient lady (guessing maybe the owner). Ideal spot for couples or a ladies get-together but would suggest maybe not for little ones because of the fine china. We enjoyed our visit and intend visiting more of the small, rural towns where your custom is appreciated.More

Stepping into this cute little shop you immediately relax in the very pretty surroundings. We chose cheesecake and coffee! Yum and then we sat and had the loveliest flowers as a background.

Not your run of the mill coffee shop, great homemade food and great coffee. Decor is different and combines plants, old tins, beautiful crockery, very tranquil and calm, I will definitely be back.

Three things I liked most about this place: The proprietor - she's relaxed and authentic The food - locally made and procured Jobs for locals - I could see old ladies washing up and preparing food back in the kitchen

A lovely cafe with good coffee and food. Nice surroundings to get away and just enjoy a coffee and something sweet or savoury with friends. My favourite cafe in Laidley area.

As the shop is both a florist and tea shop, you are surrounded by fresh flowers and gorgeous decor. The sweet/cake selection is great, with a lot variety. I felt guilty as I chose a cappuccino over a pot of tea, so I can't comment...on the tea selection. It's the perfect place to take your Mum or Grandmother. Keep in mind, there's a single step at the front of the shop for those who aren't as able as others.More

The Tea House looked quaint and charming from the front. My antenna should have gone up when it was empty at lunch time 3 days before Christmas and the streets were buzzing. I would have left only I had two elderly ladies with me and...we had sat down and settled as I started to realize I had made a mistake. This little place may have been good in the past.....may be good again in the future...but for right now...please don't visit. It was actually dirty....a layer of dust & stains on tablecloths. Lots of items and gifts around that looked like they hadn't been moved or dusted for ever. The cook looked like the gardiner. The food was pityful. The best thing?? A beautiful pot of tea in a lovely tea pot. When we left the cafe we turned right and bumped into the Hard Rock Cafe, and it was buzzing and packed with people. Maybe that was the place to go!!!!!More

I've peeked trough the window of this shop on several occasions when visiting Laidley but it hasn't been open. I was lucky enough to be in town with my girlfriend when we stopped in for afternoon tea. The woman who runs is place is a...florist and the tiny vintage shop is scattered with displays of fresh flowers along side hand painted and vintage theme decor which creates a charming old world garden feel. It is very quiet and cosy inside with an intimate feel of feminine energy so I wasn't surprised to see it full of female clientele, certainly not a place for screaming toddlers. Excellent escape for mums needing time out and an ideal place to meet girlfriends for a catch up. Service is friendly and personal which made me feel local. The food selection is limited but appropriate for a light morning or afternoon tea with a selection of cases, tarts, cupcakes, pastries and savoury options like quiche. I was told they were not made on sight but selected from local distributors. Our ice coffee and cakes were delicious, arrived quickly and hit the spot on a hot day. Prices reasonable and I'd be keen to shop for a pot plant or flowers when I'm next in town. Great little local business with a touch of nostalgia and a bit of quirk.More

I took my mother on her 90th birthday and her friend for high tea at this gorgeous Florist and Tea Room. It was very short notice when I booked but the lovely Rachel welcomed us. The setting, food and service was just lovely. We were...so surprised and thrilled when Rachel presented all three of us with individual pretty bouquets of snap dragons to celebrate my mother's birthday. Such a delightful experience.More

Twice we have gone well out of our way to visit Laidley for the specific reason just to eat in this tea room and both times it is shut. It looks a divine place to sit with friends and enjoy the fayre served. Oh well...one day perhaps but I tell you that from the outside it will be worth another trip.More
