Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at this great little hidden gem.
Thoroughly recommend the Breakfast Burger. We also had Toasties . The food was delicious. The coffee was tops. The service was awesome. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back.

Had a cuppa here recently and enjoyed the time spent. Food and service was good, though the waitress claimed they didn't serve almond milk when in fact they did. The main concern here was the noise level inside. Though there were a few people here, they weren't by any means full, but we had to almost shout to hear each other. Our voices seemed to echo. Perhaps a mat on the floor or walls would deaden the sound?

My partner and I have been coming here at least once a week for months. The coffee is always consistently amazing which is pretty hard to come by.
The chef is extremely talented everything I've tried has been fantastic.
Staff are friendly and very welcoming, dog friendly, fantastic atmosphere.
Perfect for a big group or a solo date with a book.
Vegan/vegetarian options available.

Getting a good cafe to get coffee and breakfast can be hard but getting one that is consistent in both is difficult. The yard always delivers consistently amazing coffee and meals. Their customer service is second to none. Recommend you swing byword your dog if you are in Ipswich!

Owner on a power trip.talks to her staff like crap and is very rude. We will never put foot back in this place again. We will also tell all our friends and family not to come. I feel sorry for her staff and having dogs in the kitchen pritty sure thats not very hygienic.

The Yard on Glebe is a small cafe on the corner of Glebe Road and Hamilton Street, in Ipswich, Qld. We have been at least once weekly, and sometimes twice weekly. The staff are very friendly, the food is always fresh and delicious. My husband only drinks decaf coffee and he loves the coffee here, and if we are out and about doing business, he will suggest, going there for lunch or just a coffee. They cater for coeliac gluten free, which is fantastic for when my sister comes to visit us. As I know it is always a safe place for us to enjoy a meal for everyone. They have a gluten free chocolate brownie which is to die for, heated up a little and add some cream, and you are in heaven. Would highly recommend The Yard on Glebe to everyone, which I do all the time, to anyone who is looking for somewhere new to go.

Stopped here Sunday morning for a late breakfast on our way from Ipswich to Brisbane. It was recommended to us by a family memebr and it did not disappoint. A few tables out front and alot more inside. Coffee was good and so to was the food. I had the breakfast burger. Perfect size for a breakfast roll.

Having car serviced so looked for coffee nearby. Lovely little place with friendly staff and very nice coffee. It’s on a road with a little bit of traffic but nice outlook and suburban streets.

We really enjoyed the breakfast we had at The Yard on glebe. Loved that they made their own hollandise sauce for the eggs Benedict & the toasted sandwich’s are a good option for someone who doesn’t want the traditional Bacon &eggs.
Coffee was good also , which is always important.
I think a better selection in the cake cabinet would be nice.
Will definitely return and would recommend.

We go regularly for the coffee and seem to get some breakfast as well as it’s always great service. The new owner is extremely bubbly and makes the best coffee in Ipswich!!
With the new staff they always manage to get the food out in a timely manner and consistently high quality ever time. The place is always alive with atmosphere early in the morning. My personal favourite is the French brioche toast. Dog friendly as well!!!!

Tried calling but the number is only for sms coffee orders, I sent an sms asking about gift certificate and they said they do them but then did not reply when I asked how to get 1! Then I go into store today and the kid behind the counter has no idea how to do it without the boss there! I’ve owned and run small businesses... this is really poor service!!!

I randomly chose this cafe when I travelled to Ipswich for a funeral. We stopped for breakfast and were not disappointed. The bagels were amazing as was the açai bowl. Their juices were among the best we have had. All this served promptly and professionally. A quaint little cafe with plenty of parking out the back. Well done!

Very busy little cafe, that despite the crowd, delivered fantastic service. Coffee was good and breakfast was very tasty and well presented . A little pricey compared to similar Brisbane cafes that offer similar menus but still worth a visit. I’ll be a repeat customer.
