Wow. For a small hotel in the middle of the outback this place does a seriously good feed! Genuinely better than most pubs at home in Sydney.
My partner had the kind avocado schnitty which was huge, so crispy and had crispy cheese melted over the generous avocado. Choose potatoes and veggies and you get a heap of rosaries with loads of broccoli and beans.
I had the lamb shank (pictured) which was enormous and came with delicious mash and veggies. Beers are cold, staff are friendly (ask to see the croc skull) and atmosphere chilled. Five stars.

We did intend to have lunch at Litchfield Cafe but it wasn't open, we had seen the motel at Batchelor on our travels and thought there was a restaurant here and I must say we were very pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. The food was good we both had a steak and they were cooked well but just not perfect, that's ok they were very tasty. The only negative was I was left standing at the counter without being acknowledged for 10 mins. There was one staff member serving a man next to me who was ordering 8 drinks, she did eventually acknowledge I was there but there were two others workers who didn't even look my way. I don't expect anyone to stop what they are doing to rush over to help me all I want is for someone to indicate they know I am there and will help me as soon as they can. This is something that is sadly missing in service these days.

We stayed at the motel for 2 nights and ate here both nights and 1 morning. Their dinner is definitely the better! The atmosphere is great and the service was pretty good for our stay. We waited a bit more on the 2nd night then the first maybe due to some issues in the kitchen. The place looks great for the location and is well worth the look - a little pricey but great food and by far the best you will find in the area.

In an area that is renowned for barramundi and they served hoki frozen from the freezer in a big bag is a disgrace to say the least. Lamb shank was the worst I have ever tasted. Frozen peas in the microwave. Jus? Insipid watery tomato sauce. Mash potatoes? Na...boiled potato that was crushed. No flavours no anything...just bland food flopped on a plate . Little Rippa pizza....on a bought pizza base, bacon just slapped on without cooking, sauce just jar stuff, flavour again nothing. After reading reviews, just sadness. At least the beer was cold!

Waited over a hour and half for our meal, and when we inquired was told they were busy, but after seeing people that arrived after us get their food and leave I insisting they check out order to find out they had lost it. Waited another 20 minutes to finally receive our meals. Husband was nice, mine was the pasta that had half a jar of garlic, 6 prawns,oil and hand full of pasta. Was terrible and couldn't eat it. The staff were lovley and very apologetic but management didn't seem to care replying that the chef was away. No offer to refund food but did get a drink due to losing our order.

Located as part of the BP servo complex, the cafe provides a nice, modern space with a roadhouse style of menu. Both gluten free bread and pizza bases are available. Gluten free cakes are available to go with coffee as well.
Had a good meal here that was reasonably priced: drinks also available that included gluten free beer. A top spot.

Arrived here 2.30 in the afternoon hungry after a long day sightseeing in Litchfield and realising the lunch time menu would be finished. The friendly staff however offered to cook us pizza's which were really fresh and delicious and arrived promplty. Ham and Pineapple, supreme, and pepperoni with heaps of toppings. There is also a cafe where you could buy sandwiches, slices coffee etc. The bar staff were so friendly and helpfull and the mango daiquiris were the best!

We came here for lunch, and ordered 4 meals. When the meals came out, they completely forgot my son meal, yes mistakes happen but we also ordered and paid for wedges when we were later told they don’t do wedges.
No table service even for my son’s meal where they had made the stuff up he was still expected to go up and pick the meal up.
I ordered the barramundi which was nice, but it was supposed to be with chips and salad and came out with a veg, when I pointed this out. No one really seemed interested.
One staff member said that they were training up new staff, I guess you’re not made to really feel welcomed here

Keen to buy a bottle of bubbles to share after a day out with friends in the park. Bar staff didn’t know price of a bottle and we all had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to join us for an answer. When it was 3 times the price of a bottle shop price we declined. Owners were rude and dismissive to say the least. Bar staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but not supported very well.

I've never had a bad meal here, ribs, shanks, pasta, seafood, every single thing they serve is good. But the pizza, the pizza is next level, mushroom, caramelized onion and feta that you just know they make in house because you've never tasted feta so good in your life. Go there, eat pizza ....

Not only the best place in Batchelor but the best place in NT. the food is incredible, like sooo fresh!! The staff have been absolutely amazing too, couldn’t fault their service one bit.We are staying at the Batchelor holiday park which is only a 100m walk and every night we have gone back to this beautiful restaurant. It’s just such a good atmosphere and it will be sad to leave. If your anywhere close to this place, YOU NEED TO GO! You will not regret it!! Couldn’t give a bigger Thankyou to the staff at Little rippa. You guys are the best and have been put on the highlights of our trip. Thanks so much for everything once again 🧡🙏🏼

Busy bistro with good food and a fun atmosphere. Salt and Pepper calamari was great, good thin crust pizza and Lil Ripper schnitzel was well cooked and tasty - worth a visit!!

We had a lovely family dinner here. We ordered Barramundi from the specials menu, the Rib on the Bone steak, Chicken Parmi and a Hawaiian pizza. All the meals were delicious. The service was great and the meals came out quickly. The dessert was a highlight- freshly baked sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and icecream. Delicious! The beer and wine selection was great too. Highly recommend if you’re staying at the resort or nearby, or on your way back to a Darwin after a day in the park. They also do bread lunch.

In Batchelor, there is a whole lot of nothing - but thankfully there is the oasis called the Lil-ripper. We ate there twice and had a great meal each time - really good quality pub food and pizzas. We also picked up sandwiches in the morning from the shop to take into Litchfiled National Park, and they were great. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bar is well stocked and full service, and it is very clean.

When I mistakenly left my bag including phone and wallet at the cafe the staff called my bank to advise they had the card & tried to contact me too. They kept the bag safe until I could pick it up. Can’t thank them enough. In addition their salad rolls were delicious!
