Thoroughly enjoyed the Seahorse Inn Bettenas Restaurant. Oysters when they are clearly local are just too hard to resist, so I had a sampling of the oysters (served freshly shucked, with lemon wedges and eschallot vinegar on the side). Coming from a family of oyster farmers I must add they were top notch. My spouse is not a seafood lover... More

Recently stayed at the Seahorse Inn at Boydtown, the view from my room was so stunning i decided to have room service, the Calamari and Scallop dishes were the best i have had, the room service was very quick but next time i will eat in Bettenas a la carte to experience the atmosphere and ambience, 10 out of 10

What a great venue. Staff made it feel warm & welcoming. Came for lunch & WOW the meals were generous defiant value for money pork & prawn salad delicious, even had fresh local snapper fillets on the menu cooked to perfection, my partner said. We decided to come back for dinner & the venue had a change in the air... More

We stopped in for a cool drink, to find tables on the lawn overlooking the most spectacular scenery with shady trees and live music playing. So, of course we had to have a wine, and they served up a delicious Devonshire Tea. Delightful! Our only disappointment was that we were not staying there. Maybe next time!

Food. Bunnamagoo wines. Top notch. Such a remarkable job and rebuilding and turning this into a beautiful building with bygone history.

We were staying at the hotel, and actually drove into town to explore dining options. But decided to come back to the hotel, as it seemed a much nicer option. We both had a lovely mango prawns dish.

we called in here on our recent holiday for a coffee and loved it so much we came back the next day with friends for lunch. The food was fantastic and the outside gardens on a summers day were so nice with the see breeze from the beach.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and were one of only 3 couples dining - so disappointing to see as this really is an amazing, lovely old hotel and with a bit of a marketing injection could be so different. At least it wasn't noisy :-) We ordered the fish and vegetables with the waitress advising that... More

My partner always tells me to ONLY order seafood if you can see the ocean - and boy I was not disappointed here. My partner, myself and a few other couples visited for dinner over the Australia day long weekend. My partner and I both had the flake and calamari, and it was cooked to perfection! The flake was fresh... More

Great menu options for kids, and lovely adult meals too. An amazing view and beautiful building - good to be able to get out of the sun between beach/walking activities. (Nachos for kids pls?)
