Visited Eden 13th July and also back in November or December 2021. Had the fisherman’s basket the first time. On the 2nd visit, I failed to find the Food Co before we needed to eat. Now I will NEVER forgot where it is.

Great food, I had an excellent seafood chowder and my partner a decent country town hamburger with better than expected bun. This was a friendly, clean and non-pretentious restaurant

Very pleasant surprise after having a coffee with a lovely complimentary sample muffin 2 days earlier, we opted for lunch when we saw the menu - Home made lasagne for one and seafood platter with flathead for the other - at reasonable prices. Good friendly...service and VERY NICE food. Best we had in Eden in the week we were there. Very homely cafeMore

We enjoyed a delightful meal of fish and chips at this cafe in Eden. The food was fresh, well cooked and ample in size. It was a pleasant late lunch. The staff were friendly and hospitable even though they were busy. A good cafe.

What a great cafe!! Had breakfast and everything was really tasty, served promptly and the lady serving was so friendly. Coffee very nice, served with complimentary little muffin. Big breakfast is absolutely hiuge and only $22 and Eggs Benny only $16. Couldn’t fault it all.

The food at the cafe is excellent. We had the veggie burger which is freshly made from seasonal vegetables and the chicken burger which is the chicken breast. The rye buns were perfect. Chips perfectly cooked , so for an easy lunch we were very...pleased.More

The deluxe egg and bacon roll is super tasty, filling and great value for money. The chicken, bacon pesto salad is a great gluten free option. Recommend.

Its rare to find a gem of a take away that hits all the notes. The hamburger was like the old days - juicy and tasty. The wraps were excellent. Please dont change anything!!! And I'll travel there when I can :)

Husband and I ordered a fish and chip meal for lunch today with a drink. We were eating in. After approximately 35 minutes I realised people who arrived AFTER us were receiving their meals. I asked the lady where our meals were, she replied 'we...are busy'. I corrected her with 'customers who have arrived after us are receiving their meals". She then realised the docket with our order was still sitting at the counter and not in the kitchen. I asked her for our money back as we did not want to wait any longer, she responded 'I will just ask the owner first'. I was a bit taken aback at this response. I heard the conversation with the owner and the staff member with the owner telling the staff 'tell them we've been a bit busy and it wont be much longer we will do the order now'. The staff relayed this message to me. I again asked for our money back as we did not wish to wait any longer, again she went back to ask the owner - the owner told the staff member 'No they can wait for their meal'. We left without our meal and without our money. The owner of this business is a thief. You will be receiving a call from fair trading this week for your supremely unprofessional and downright criminal action.More

The food is always fresh and well priced, the sandwiches are exceptional as well as cakes and cookies. Fast and efficient service even during the crazy holidays.

Fast service, friendly staff. Big brekky was very generous size and great value for money. Nice tasting. More of a home cooked style, the bread was not sour dough, but similar to helga’s toast, the eggs cooked in some sort of a cup, they weren’t...traditional poached eggs, but lucky for me weren’t completely over cooked. Very generous serve of bacon and well cooked! Tasty hash brown. Coffee was good. Recommend.More

Great tasting fish & chips - the best value for money in Eden. Fast & friendly service. Had hoped for fresh oysters but they proved to be too popular in the day. We will need to return.
