I have been coming here almost 20 years. This is the best Mexican in the city. Not even a question, best Mexican lunch joint. It's on the outside corner of City Market on Blount St. (Best parking is on Person St. behind Vic's and walk the block.) The decor is a little cheesy but that's kind of the point. The... More

We had a very enjoyable meal (shrimp fajitas for 2) at a reasonable price. Plenty of food. Very Good service!

I have walked past El Rodeo dozens of times but I never ate there until yesterday. I have to say it was on the whole fabulous. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding, and for what I got it was cheap. Atmosphere: 5 In the interest of full disclosure I love places that has a... More

Enjoy eating here anytime. Always fast, friendly, fresh and tastes great. Ordered Dos Taquitos this time, but everything I have ever had here has been delicious. Excellent tea! Extensive menu to choose from.

The regular mexican fare. Nothing to special. Usual chips and salsa, along with all the regular menu items, decent dinner

El Rodeo is basic Mexican food. They have the standard items that you would expect. Free chips & salsa are brought to the table right away, and the service is usually pretty quick. The location in City Market is nice.

We went on a Wednesday night. Food was old. They served me 1 teaspoon of avocado, 1 teaspoon of sour cream. They reduced sizes big time. This was DINNER. Children's plate waaaay to little too. Also, I remained stomach upset for 2 days afterwards. We won't come back again.
