Found this place via internet and decided to try it out. The Indian food was really good and the atmosphere and service were also fine. I would recommend it

My wife and I throughly enjoyed a dinner recently at the Royal India restaurant. Pakoras followed by delicious and quite authentic dishes of okra, eggplant and tomatoes and chicken tandoori accompanied by buttery basmati rice

I ordered a masala to go that had no... heft whatsoever. It was thinner than the average canned tomato soup. Rather than blend with the basmati rice, it drained through it. Naan was flavorless. I can't speak for the dine-in experience, but for take-out, Kabab and Curry on Hillsborough St as well as Cilantro Cafe in Cafe are better options,... More

Chicken korma was so on point and not too spicy (you order medium, you get medium!) Expeditious service. Really dedicated and sociable owner, clearly enjoys and cares deeply for his restaurant. Will be back for sure!

Went to luncheon buffet yesterday, 8/14/16. The temperature outside was 91 degrees and they had no working air conditioning in the restaurant, just a big box fan. Unbelievable. I could eat very little; just too warm. My husband stayed and ate more. The bill was $38 for 2 buffets and 2 teas. FIND ANOTHER INDIAN BUFFET.

Over a decade of going here. North Indian style food (Tandoor and Punjabi) made from scratch. Very wide menu with all kinds of meat and seafood. Probably the only tirangle restaurent serving Lobster dish. Good Breads. Ambience is little loud and bright colored. Chef is same for 15 years, unusual for an Indian joint. Recommend for authtenticity of food style... More

We were treated to masala tea by the owner.I live in Warren County and my daughter lives in Raleigh. We eat... More

The hotel recommended this restaurant and it was very good. The menu is extensive. I had Malai Kofta Curry and the portions were generous and well spiced. The salt lassi was tasty as well. If I lived in Raleigh, I'd go back.

My experiences with this restaurant are almost all during the lunch buffet, so I can't speak to how the meals may be during dinner. As for lunch, it is a very tasty buffet- the main meat options are usually Tandoori chicken, chicken curry, or butter chicken. Other items may contain other meats with vegetables, of which there are usually 5-6... More

If you like Indian food then this is the place to go. I recommend visiting for lunch since they offer a buffet with lots of delicious choices that you can pick and choose and try a little of everything. You can go back for more and I guarantee that if you like Indian you will definitely go back for more.

Thank Juan D
