I stopped in from a road trip. Clean and nice interior. Reasonable selection of snacks. I picked up two jalapeño cheddar biscuits, a cinnamon roll and as large drip kenyan. I thought the coffee was great for a drip cup. I will return when in the area.

This is a legitimate Indy coffee shop, and for me is so much more relaxing and comfortable than the chains. Also, you gotta think it's about half the price, and the coffee comes in ceramic cups, therefore it feels more like home. A large coffee is $2.00, and you can hang out here and relax while you get your caffeine... More

I guess this is the it place for coffee close by NCSU. Nice and fast service. The staff looks like they have several coffees while they work haha all hyped up!! Nice pastries. Visited several times while visiting Raleigh for several weeks.

I'm not sure if the owners spent a lot of money on a retro fit-out or whether they have just not done anything in the last 60 years but this place is exactly what I imagine a 1950s cafe would look like. By European standards the espresso coffee is acceptable and by US standards it's fantastic. If you are from... More

This casual establishment located in the North Carolina State boundaries serves great coffee drinks at reasonable prices. Our lattes were outstanding. They also have items to add at no charge such as cinnamon or extra creme. The coffee cups and tops tend to be of lower quality than a place such as Starbucks so make sure you are careful carrying... This is probably the best tasting coffee in the triangle, but... The place has enlarged to take in the denser development taking place in the neighborhood. We both had a very frothy cappuccino grande served in a pint-sized beer glass. We asked for 50/50, but we left really charged up. As the afternoon wore on, we began to feel queasy,... More

Sweet little spot. Great coffee. Friendliest staff ever. Seriously, you guys should come to Asheville, NC - where there is also great coffee and super awesome baristas - you'd fit right in. Thanks for the love! And the amazing coffee beans I took home!

Very good quality coffee and a few pastries. Reuse furniture with plentiful seating. Just west of NCSU campus on Hillsborough Street.

I love Cup a Joe. Both locations (the one on Hillsborough and the one on Mission Valley) are great, though the one on Hillsborough has a slightly better atmosphere. It is a perfect coffee shop to sit and get some work done or just relax with a cup of coffee. They roast their own beans so you can't go wrong... More

The employees at cup of joe are very friendly. They have a wide selection of coffees along with smoothies and other treats. The atmosphere is great for studying or chatting with friends.
