We have eaten at Mo's many times over the years and the burgers are always great. The servers are nice and the service is great. My favorite is the Enferno! Awesome!

Went to this place on one of those Restaurant Week deals. It's an eclectic house in a not so nice part of downtown Raleigh. The appetizer was good, I think but not completely memorable. The entree was what through me off. I had the jambalaya...More
I read some of the negative reviews on tripadvisor and I must say that our group's experience was nothing like those. There must have been a change in management. the wait staff was very pleasant and attentive, and Holly herself came to greet us at...More
Mo's Diner is now called Holly's on Hargett. It's still the same location, owner, and chef. We had eaten there over a year ago and had a great meal. The atmosphere is wonderful, quiet, unique. This past time, though the food was not as good...More

Lovely little house- great ambiance! The food was excellent...our group had muscles, scallops, grouper, and steak and all were delicious! The salad wedge was also beyond great! Our server was also super-friendly... All in all , a delightful experience!
Holly's on Hargett, formerly Mo's Diner was a disappoint. The food was dry and flavorless and the "complimentary" bread "only served upon request" was hard as a rock and hollow. The meals were way overpriced for such poor quality. The fish alone was $28 dollars...More
Strangely empty apart from our group, but it was a Tuesday night! We all enjoyed excellent food; I had a very tasty pork tenderloin and my husband a delicious full rack of lamb. Chocolate torte was a delight. Attentive service. Shame the Malbec was in...More
Finally! We have wanted to come here for years and years! My husband called the restaurant early in the week of Restaurant Week for a Saturday evening reservation for six people and he was told there were no tables. The determined spouse (me!), called again...More
In Raleigh, google “rack of lamb” and you get Mo’s Diner. We love rack of lamb so for our 29th anniversary I surprise my wife and took her to Mo’s. It’s not a diner. It’s a beautiful old home made into a restaurant with several...More
