Friends of our who live in Raleigh recommended Caffe Luna and we met there for dinner. The restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel. My wife had a pasta chicken dish and I had the special which was rigatoni with smoked bacon in a marinara sauce. Our friends had a roasted chicken dish and lasagna. My wife's dinner was... More

What a great meal! Excellently prepared and served, friendly staff and relatively quiet place to enjoy a meal with a colleague! The Pollo alla Griglia was outstanding!

If you are looking for a quiet, delicious northern Italian food restaurant; go to Caffe Luna. The owner is always on site and makes rounds to make sure that your food and service is up to standard.

Dinner was awesome! The bread was a bit unusual with the regular olive oil dipping sample, but tasty. I had pasta with crab meat with a lite tomato sauce along with a bottle of Riesling, which was delicious. I savored ever bite and sip. The dessert really hit home for me. Their tiramisu was the best I have every had.... More

Enjoyed delicious Italian pasta dishes on a Friday evening before going to the theater. Greeted at the door by the owner, who found us a table despite not having a reservation. Great service and great food. Be advised that the restaurant does not serve hard liquor -- only beer and wine -- and that reservations are advised

When Café Luna opened up years ago, it actually served decent food. Alas, this is no longer the case, and hasn't been for several years. I was dragged there for a business lunch with a medium sized party once again recently, and oh dearie me! The food, all the food, is utterly mediocre and common, bland, mostly tasteless if you're... Nice venue to meet & greet politicians for their receptions. Also enjoyed nice private lunch there. Good spot.

A friend and I were at Marbles with our grandkids and decided to take in a late lunch. She wanted to try Caffe Luna but I would have preferred something more casual and quick with two five year olds. We loved the atmosphere and they had a nice selection on the menu. They even had a kid's menu. The service... More

Went there after a noon concert by the North Carolina Symphony. We were with some of the orchestra members. It seems that they do this often. My wife and I come here because it's our favorite lunch spot. We can't tell you much about the menu. Because we always order the same thing. The quality service and food are just... More
