I've been eating here for 20 years and I've never been disappointed. If you like French cuisine with a Southern twist, this is the place for you. My most recent visit had me eating Crab Rangoons with cole slaw for an appetizer, a very moist Ashley farms half chicken with basmatic rice, fava beans, mango chutney and a creamy yogurt... More

We met friends from the area for dinner. They know we like French cooking and selected Bloomsbury. The food was wonderful and the service very accomplished. The atmosphere is quiet and was perfect for conversation over dinner. All in all, a wonderful experience.

We had a fabulous experience. First they out us at a special corner table knowing it was our anniversary. Ambiance was relax yet upscale. Service was fantastic. We ordered the goat cheese ravioli appetizer and citrus salad to share. Both were fresh and delicious. Bread brought to table was warm and tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak and I thoroughly... This place has a sort of outdated front and might need a little renovation, but don't let that fool you: The chef is simply awesome and the food is good, tasty, well presented. We tried the fish of the day, lamb and duck breast. All were done with a style that is reminiscent of Michelin-starred restaurants. This is a sure-fire... More

We have come here for years to celebrate events and just for a good quality meal. The service is very attentive. Pleasant quiet atmosphere especially in the large room - away from the bar.

I'll give Bloomsbury Bistro 5 stars as I've visited on numerous occasions and have never had a bad experience. The place has also become a bit more special and warrants a few Bonus points, as the wife and I have made it an anniversary tradition ... The staff, service, atmosphere, and food are all top notch and we love how... More

It's been years since we last visited, but we dined there this past weekend, and no wonder Bloomsbury is alive and well. A fine dining environment without being stuffy. Service was excellent. Even though there were large parties there (nicely isolated in their own private rooms, so no noise factor), our meal courses were well timed. The menu is a... More

If I get to pick, my number one choice for dining in the Triangle is the Bistro, a neighborhood favorite that offers consistently excellent fine dining. The menu changes regularly and takes advantage of seasonal and local foods. Chef John Toler is highly creative but never outrageous; the inventive flavor combinations are sometimes surprising but always strike the perfect note.... More

We arrived relatively late, and I always find it impressive that the food is still very good and the service very good even if it is later in the evening, as so many restaurants fall off after 8:30 or 9:00. Despite our late arrival the staff was pleasant and efficient. The menu is diverse and locally sourced, with dishes prepared... More
