Seriously. I love it. The food is always fresh and they have a good amount of vegetarian options. Staff is wonderful and knowledgable. The vibe is cozy and familiar and we always leave already planning our next trip back! Keep it up!

Our friends that live in downtown Raleigh told us about this place the week they moved there. It didn't disappoint. They offer an eclectic meal that has a unique twist to standard Korean fare and they also cater to those that have a gluten-free palate. This will be a "must stop" for each trip to Raleigh for us from now... More

This southern Asian Fusion is fresh, fabulous & flavorful made before your eyes at the bar. Had Bibimbop bowl with pork belly & chicken and the braised short rib. Fab service as well

Kim Hunter - the proprietor (disclaimer: also a friend) - offers Korean-influenced fusion food, and works with local farmers/watermen for her ingredients, which means that her offerings change seasonally. The food is not as spicy as typical Korean food, though it is certainly nourishing and satisfying. Her soups are great, especially if you're under the weather. Chap chai with glass... More

Have been excited to try Kimbap since reading about it awhile ago, finally shared a delicious meal here with friends and was not disappointed. Our waitperson was friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, and they are clearly environmentally conscious in their operations ~ which is always something I look for.

Local food and art -- what a great start! And the staff was so attentive and wonderful, I wanted to love this place but unfortunately the meal was not particularly good. Though the server was helpful in describing the Korean dishes, our vegetarian meals were okay but nothing special.

The food is always great. Everything is as fresh as can be and prepared in the spot basically right in front of you. The owner seems to always be there and the staff pleasant and helpful.

Tucked away by a dry cleaner and a coffee shop this little gem will serve you authentic Korean dishes with locally grown produce. We sat at the kitchen bar and watched as they quickly prepared our bibimbap rice bowls and dumplings. The service was fast and friendly, the kitchen staff smiled and seemed genuinely happy we were there. The food... More

Kimbap has been our favorite place for the past year! We are absolutely addicted to their pork belly (we usually order the pork belly lettuce wraps or mixed rice bowl). Last time we went, my husband tried the braised short ribs and it was absolutely amazing...we've never been disappointed by one of their dishes before. I love knowing that they... More

One of my favorite spots to grab lunch or dinner. The dumplings are amazing! I also love the Bibimbap mixed rice bowl. I get it with pork belly and an egg! The food is fresh, local and organic. Service is always good. Inside and outside dining available.
