If you are looking for an Irish place with great prices for drinks and food, this is the place to be. I'm not a college student and my experience here was ok. The service I would give 4 stars. The corned beef and cabbage was average. We ordered it to split and the server didn't bring out an extra plate... More

This is the classic Irish Pub and bar scene. The food was good, not exceptional. My wife had the fish sandwich, nothing different from average. I had the corned beef and cabbage. The cabbage was done correctly, not over cooked. Good mashed potatoes. The corned beef was a little to the dry side. Now, the beer was the best part... More

If you haven't taken advantage of their Monday lunch special you're missing the boat. The Build Your Own Burger Special is unbeatable. The price is right and it's one of the best burgers in town.

"Our menu explores the richness of Irish and American cuisine..." Well, that claim may be a bit over the top, but the Beef Stew here is tasty, as is the Shepherd's Pie. My wife ordered the Mac & Cheese which is one of her favorites, and she was happy. The Beef Stew and the Shepherd's Pie was served with soda bread,... More

One member of our group had the Ruben sandwich and said it was the worst Ruben sandwich they had ever eaten. This is supposed to be their second best seller on the menu according to our server. Ruben sandwich was skimpy at best and it appeared they had been served the last of the corned beef. It did not taste... More

My wife and I ate here the other night while making a quick trip to North Raleigh. It was an NFL Sunday so the backroom was a bit noisy, but not unexpected for such an establishment. The decor is what one would think an Irish pub would look like (especially if you were never to Ireland). The waitress was pleasant... More

Happened to drive past this place picking up a friend. We actually had planned to go to another place. Went to the other place and was bored. decided to stop in on this Pub. 3 bars. Live music and friendly bartenders. We struck the jackpot. Cool spot to chill. will be going back.

We've been here a dozen times at least and always get the fried cod sandwich. Always perfect and a deal at $9.50. Great beer selection, friendly staff, & wood burning fire in the winter. Great spot for dinner or just drinks.

A hectic day brought us back to the Hibernian! I love the décor that welcomes you into a warm pub atmosphere and easy manner of the service makes for a relaxing meal. The menu is authentic and hearty! My favorites are the Irish Breakfast, fish and chips and Shepard's Pie and topped off with a great selection of beers and... More

One of my favorite local pubs. Food and atmosphere are great. I go to this location more often than the Glenwood Ave location only because it's closer to my house and parking is good. They are both equally good otherwise.
