Had the goat stew with black beans and rice and plantains. The service was thorough and accurate. Great family environment.

I like coming to this restaurant because the food is good and I can earn some sky miles. Wait staff is okay but service could be better.

Very awesome food... I frequented Spanish, Cuban and Portuguese restaurants when I lived in NYC / NJ .. in fact, just about everyday AND this place IS IT! Bull's-eye, right on the nose authentic. I Love everything on the menu.

I've tried this place twice and both times the food was just ok. I was hoping for spicy flavorful if not eve a bit spicy hot. I had the chicken stew for lunch this past time and although it was ok, I was hoping for more. I will say the fried plantains were perfectly Cooke and I ate all 6... More

Delicious authentic cooking and atmosphere. Was on a date with my boyfriend on a Monday night and as we were waiting for our meals to arrive we overheard another customer raving about his dish. We giggled at this as it seemed funny to us that he was praising the food so loudly and enthusiastically to the waiter. But then our... More

This place has pretty yummy food. Most of what's on the menu reminds me of my dear Dominican Republic, as well as the decorations and the ambiance. Then there's other food varieties, like "bandeja paisa," which is a typical plate from Colombia. I've been here a few times and had different things; I've never been disappointed. The only down side... More

I love Caribbean food -- yuca and fried plantains, arroz y frijoles, y flan. But it's often hard to find food that is vegetarian. I happened upon this restaurant while I was in North Raleigh and had a great meal here. I made my own meal out of sides -- Tostones (fried plantains), Frijoles Negros (black beans), Arroz Blanco (white... More

This little place is usually full of folks now in Raleigh's hood who miss something from home. Get yourself a plate of roast pork with sweet plantains and boiled yuca and enjoy. The delivery time is a little slow but worth the wait.
