We ordered very basic Thai items for takeout, shrimp pad Thai, chicken fried rice and spring rolls. Also Thai tea. Everything tastes awful! Worst Thai tea mix ever. The pad Thai tastes like they seasoned it with only a little soy sauce, no tamarind sauce at all, the chopped peanuts tastes like nothing, noodles were overcooked. Rice was mushy. Most... More

Try the Pad Thai and you will be coming back for more . . . even to the point of buying a cooler to take some home! Generous portions, reasonable prices, and some of the friendliest people you will meet on the island! Do NOT miss this restaurant!

We eat here every time we are on Ocracoke (several times a year). It is always great. American hot is really hot and Thai hot is beyond that, so be aware.

Here's a thought for island visitors who have kitchen facilities and a taste for Thai. With local seafood readily available, you could buy some fresh fish or shrimp and then simmer in panang curry paste and coconut milk, both of which can be purchased from Thai Moon. They sell a good variety of Thai cooking condiments as well as rice.... More

I am still searching for a better Thai experience on the mainland. The food is just fabulous and authentic. Highly recommended but make sure to bring cash.

Ate there once, just for a quick lunch, I remember the spring rolls being very authentic and good. Seemed like the service was a bit slow.

Their pad thai is different from any I've ever had, and it is my absolute favorite. The owner goes to Thailand every year, so hopefully you catch them open if you go in the spring. It's easily the food-highlight of the trip!

My sister recommended this restaurant. It is simply a takeout place with no seats in the restaurant. They have a few tables on the porch which is perfect for us since we travel with a dog The food at this place delicious and plentiful. I ordered the pad thai with shrimp and my husband had the lo mein with shrimp.... More
