My kids love this place, or I don't think I would go. The people who work there are not very friendly (in our experience!), and the desserts do not appear to be homemade. They are individually packaged, leading one to believe they are made on site, but I have discovered this is not always the case. Fudge is made there,... More

Took the ferry down to spend the day at the beach. Stopped in for breakfast. Had egg and cheese bagels that were delicious. Friendly staff and super clean.

Great place to pick up food for the beach or ferry. Nice selection of sweets including a big assortment of fudge.

I didn't know what to expect when we pulled over to get a coffee and sweets but this place was a great stop. They have a lot to offer; from a variety of ice cream, cakes, pies, candy, & fudge, to coffees, hot cocoa, & soda, to potato salad, coleslaws and more. We purchased coffee, and sweets to go. The... Great place for a little afternoon sweets. The chocolates are pretty good but the best are the pastries. Try the Fig cake it's pretty good but the chocolate chocolate cake with whip cream is......over the top!

Four out of five days we stopped at the fig to scoop up some of their mouth-watering desserts. We discovered this great owner-operated bakery, sandwich stop, candy shop several years ago and it is still one of the reasons we return to Ocracoke again and again. Our daily stops do not focus on the ice-cream, sandwiches, chocolates, or candy but... More

Good candy selection. We made a tradition of brining the kids to this place. Ice cream too. Plus a breakfast and lunch menu.

Best chocolates and fudge to be found! The selection of candies is really nice. After a day in the village it is a great way to sweeten up the afternoon. We stop every time we are around on the island.

Everything in this place was appetizing and reasonable prices. The ice cream was flavorful. Their coffee, I felt was too rich for my taste. Oh try their pastries.
