Great food and a friendly staff make this a warm and cozy place to dine. Simple steamed seafood during a recent visit were top notch. Steamed shrimp and crab legs were fantastic. With key lime pie for dessert , a meal that can't be beat.

We had lunch at Tortugas' today. The service was outstanding. Hillary was a great waitress. I had the fish tacos. They were served with rice and black beans. Husband had a grilled tuna sandwich that was served with chips and salsa. The food was really good. This will definitely go on our list of places to revisit.

Arrived here on a Friday night around 730. Had to wait a half hour for a table. My sister and I split a Portobello mushroom sandwich and a quinoa salad with salmon on top. The sandwich was good but the wheat bread was pretty wet on the bottom slice (ugh). The quinoa salad was very tasty and the salmon was... More

This place was recommended to us by locals. It was so good that we ate dinner there three nights during our week stay. The pork chip with red pepper jelly! The fish tacos! The fresh black beans and rice! The spicy shrimp pasta dish! Oh and the key lime pie and the peanut butter pie. Heaven!!!

This is a cool little place. Good vibe. Tasty food. We had a fish sandwich and a burger that were both really yummy. They even have live music some nights.

When traveling we like to visit places Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive Ins, and Drives has been. The appetizer was good and the desserts were fabulous. Three of the group had fish tacos and one had spiced shrimp. The fish tacos had good flavor but were dry and the shrimp were spiced way too much! Not sure we will visit... More

My wife and I had lunch and dinner at Tortuga's Lie, twice during our visit to the Outer Banks. It was crowded at lunchtime and dinner time, but the staff is outstanding, helpful, and friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the Coco Loco chicken as well as the jerk chicken and a couple of different types of burgers. Food... More

Tortugas is one of our favorites when we visit the Outer Banks. We try to find places that the locals recommend. The menu is not extensive but everything on it is delicious! The drinks are good sized and fun! Shark Frenzy involves a toy shark that you get to keep. There's a nonalcoholic version for kids. This place is popular... More

Eight of us from kids to seniors went for lunch and all had great meals. For drinks the kids ordered the Shark Attack without the bite called Near Miss and it came with a rubber shark filled with grenadine. Good start to a great experience. Carlos couldn't have provided better service. Salmon salad, jerk chicken, mahi mahi fish tacos and... More

Went here for dinner with a large party and felt this place was average with the exception of the dish mentioned in the title of this review...the person who ate it felt it tasted ok but noted when the dish was brought out it was not hot. Sadly this person in our party spent hours on the can several hours... More

Hey donnaks, I wanted to respond personally to your review because of your accusation. I don't think that people realize that the shrimp that goes into the Saint Martin is the same shrimp used in three other dishes, and the same goes for the pasta. And I also do not think people realize how many people eat the same shrimp... More
