Over the years, we frequented Grits Grill for breakfast and lunch. The food has always been good and they improved the restaurant over the years. A definite stop when you're in the Outer Banks.

Had the eggs (scrambled) fluffy (huge) biscuit, sausage patty and hash browns. Had to come back again the next day for a repeat. It was THAT good. Great coffee, fast service. Large portions and great value.

Now this was absolutely the best breakfast ever eaten on the Outer Banks. Huge portions, Bacon cooked perfectly, hashbrown were amazing and the eggs cooked just right! Would recommend to anyone. After all the years, finally tried it!
I am usually not a breakfast person, but Grits Grill had the best chipped beef I have ever eaten. Everyone's food was delicious and hot which is unusual for breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will be going back
