Awesome food with even better service. The location was great not being terribly far from the beach.

Blueberry pancakes and awesome grits. This is the spot. Plus delightful service and a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This was our first time at the restaurant. (the restaurant we normally eat breakfast was closed for the season... but heard that they also owned the Grits Grill). We arrived around 10:00a and were shown a table that was dirty. There was trash (both food and paper) under the table and as we looked around, most of the tables needed... More

Really good breakfast, we ordered an omelet and country sausage gravy and both plates had plenty of food. They're only open for breakfast and lunch(6am to 2pm). Don't miss out, it's a great meal for the price!

They had generous helpings of well-prepared breakfast fare. The orange juice was excellent quality and the staff were friendly. All of the staff were not able to get there due to the hurricane however there was not an unusual wait.

Our party of 5 met for breakfast on our last morning here, and I just wish we'd known about this place sooner! Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. The food was excellent..waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, toast, and smooth, creamy, perfectly seasoned grits! mmmmmm....glad we found this place, and look forward to coming back next time we're on OBX..

We go down to NC every year and we have been unable to find a breakfast place that we think has good food and service. Most of the breakfast places are swamped and we couldn't figure out why because the food was nothing special and the service was a little slow. Then we saw this place while going to a... More

First time for shrimp and grits for breakfast. Loved the gravy also. Fast friendly service at mile post 14. Large servings of every thing. Prices medium, not low.

Grits Grill is a decidedly southern place to have a great breakfast or lunch year round. It's open till 2 pm daily. Most of the cooking is done right behind the diner style front counter. Eggs any style, chipped beef, omelettes, hotcakes and of course grits (cooked just about any style) are breakfast specialties and served anytime. Lunch is full of specials, deli offerings and big, juicy burgers. Owned locally. Staff is well known for being warm and friendly. Come have breakfast with us anytime!
